Advance payment for monitoring and equipment is required. Locations must be pre-wired to connect security alarm equipment and must have a land line. Customer owns equipment is responsible for its maintenance. If home is not pre-wired wireless equipment must be purchased. Homes without a land line must purchase a Cellular Wireless Unit.

I'm extremely unhappy with the customer service I received today after being a customer since 2000. I understand that CMS acquired the original company I signed up for service, but to double my rates and be rude over the phone is uncalled for when I requested for my service to be transfer. I've already found another alarm company that will be happy to activate my new house at similar rates that I was paying CMS. Additionally, they did not implied that they were doing me a favor to monitor my house, but actually appreciated getting my business. I guess CMS did not value me as a customer and told me to take their offer or cancel my service. I will take their advice and leave.
