Scammers. suddenly they are patrolling before 8 pm and favor booting people at their own apartments. i have called them many times when someone parked in my spot and they did nothing.

These scam artists still have yet to return my $100 deposit after it being more than a MONTH since I've returned the barnacle. This is outrageous and honestly brings me to consider legal action for a lawsuit. I do not take kindly to their call center repeatedly either ignoring my issue or entirely dismissing it to their email, the same email they never respond to.

And when they do respond, they still state it's not their problem. It's clearly written that the deposit is to take up to 3 business days to receive it back. so where is IT? I followed your rules and yet you still cannot provide on your own policy, an absolute joke. You should all be ashamed of the horrendous work you do, and I will not accept your lies anymore.

I urge everyone else running into this same exact problem to pursue similar action. As these criminals won't learn until their "company" is dissolved. EDIT: They have recently, and finally, returned my money. Which I'm very grateful for! However, the way it was handled, until the very end of the matter, is just unacceptable business practice. Revaluation and change should be this company's #1 priority it seems.

One of the worst companies I have ever seen work. THEY WROTE A CITATION FOR A SNAPCHAT POST, THEY SHOWED UP TO A STUDENTS HOME THAT WAS VOICING HIS OPINION ON SNAPCHAT AND WROTE HIM A $200 FINE. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS OFFENSE. MANAGEMENT WILL GET WHATS COMING TO THEM.

A silly tow truck company dropped my car off in the wrong parking spot causing me to get a barnacle! After contacting Absolute, they were kind, and willing to work with me. They were able to remove the barnacle problem free!

Edit: Have just been barnacled at 48 West guest parking lot with a guest pass, will update if they acknowledge the appeal. Solid 0, nothing but cash grabbing from young adults. They protect nothing, they help nobody, break a victimless rule (or sometimes don't even break any rules) you pay up. Considering I have to give one star, I'll give it that they do a fantastic job at making the quality of living in a complex they're contracted by go down, in places that would otherwise be very fun to live in. Hopefully new agencies take over their contracts, such as anyone who provides security, assists residents, and enforces or does anything in the interests of those residents involved. Having the boys over to listen to some tunes? Gonna cost you.

Someone parks in your parking spot that you pay for? They aren't on duty suddenly. You park in nobodies spot? Barnacle! You park in a guest lot? Barnacle! Park in a general parking spot when your reserved spot that you pay monthly for gets stolen? BARNACLE! Follow the instructions when you return the barnacle after it's paid for? They'll get theirs, they'll claim it's damaged and keep the $100 security deposit.

Why secure a premise when you can jack a 20 year old's tuition money, anyway? Wolves gotta prey on the sheep somehow, it's a shame the sheepdogs who are supposed to protect prey on the flock as well.

Security gets a bad rap. Unfortunately they are in the business of enforcing rules of their clients. They are professional and care about their job. They are not well liked by our student residents but as a professional who hires them out, I have nothing but positive things. Finding a security company that accepts feedback and makes adjustments as needed and takes on additional responsibilities without complaint speaks volumes.

They communicate and stop in the office routinely to make sure things are being addressed. For any potential client looking to hire a security firm. look no further. Absolute Security is your answer.

So. the scam is to charge ransom money to recover your own vehicle, even from a parking lot that you are renting from. When you have your apartment number written on your parking permit, zero attempts are made to contact you to state that there is a different lot for guest parking. Basically, if you rent at this complex, you are not allowed to have any visitors park anywhere near your apartment without risking this "Security Company" from placing a Barnacle on their vehicle, no matter how disabled the visitor may be.

Literally the most condescending workers I have ever dealt with. After simply returning the device I was told I wouldn't be getting my deposit back because I damaged the barnacle. Literally the biggest load of garbage. Why they are constantly employed to enforce parking in Allendale I'll never know.

I have called absolute multiple times for multiple issues, talked to someone about it, and absolute never showed up. they tried to boot my roommate multiple times who HAD a parking pass, just because they did not like him. had an "incident" at my apartment a few weeks ago involving absolute, and they were extremely unprofessional, childish, and even lied to us. would not let us talk to a manager. we have tried to contact them countless times to resolve the issue (as we were given a $1300 fine), but they will not respond. the only time i've ever seen them genuinely care about something was when they pulled over to my apartment because i was hitting my birthday pinata (must've been "loud"). they only do their jobs when they're bored, and they still do it poorly. especially because crime is getting bad in allendale, i genuinely feel afraid to live here. when i get into another dangerous situation, i will always call the cops before i call absolute.

Absolute Security is the biggest scam I've ever seen. $60 last year for a car being booted. $160 this year with a whole entire windshield lock. Anybody you talk to on the telephone acts like a complete robot and only wants your money. It's like they are given a paper with 10 things to say and they are not allowed to say anything else. The owner of this must be really ashamed he wasn't smart enough to run any other business and all he can do is scam college kids. Hopefully the Lodge at Allendale can come back to reality and realize you can not have only 20 guest parking spots in a 500+ apartment facility.

I know you guys are intelligent, and whoever runs this business is raking in cash. It's beyond pathetic this is how you have to do it. Fix the system and be good human beings. P.S. - I hope you all step on a lego
