Residents living in communities with an Envera Virtual Gate Guard have access to our MyEnvera web portal and smart-device app. MyEnvera is a resource for residents to update their guest list, household information, and more. When a guest is not registered and automatically authorized with license plate or driver's license technology, our trained, virtual guards will greet the guest and contact the resident he or she is going to visit. Once the resident is contacted, the virtual guard will grant or deny entry as instructed by the resident.
Determine the Level of Access for Residents and Staff Based on Locations, Time of Day, and other Criteria Established by the Community. Whether it is resident entry for vehicles, pedestrian gates, or pool doors, Access Control security is the solution to regulate who can enter an area and what times.
Increase community security at a gated entrance while saving money with Envera's Guard Module Software solution. For communities that maintain an on-site gate guard, Envera creates a hybrid system. This combines the on-site guard with advanced technology. In most cases, the gate guard and Envera's Virtual Gate Guard will split shifts for cost-effective monitoring at the entrance.

I live in bay port community and the gate bar hit my windshield. The gate bar was open and proceeded to drive and the bar suddenly went down on my windshield. I've been calling for two months and getting the run around. All I've heard from them is a bunch of lies they can't even give me a report back if they will fix it. Horrible communication

Their "gate agents" (probably someone being paid minimum wage to sit on a computer at home) are some of the worst trained when it comes to service. Spent 15 minutes at the gate, SPELLING OUT a street name atleast 7 times, only for her to tell me "it doesn't exist". Her attitude needs severe adjustment as well. The supervisor came and let me in within a few seconds after verifying the address once more. It's honestly easier to wait and tailgate behind someone than to deal with this mess of a "security" company.

I've had two vehicles wrecked at the gate due to cars backing up because their readers are always down. I also constantly get text messages that my husband came thru the gate when he is sitting next to me. However, when I am in a loaner vehicle, It's an ACT OF GOD to get thru the gate and have been denied multiple times (event with access code and they did not call which they are supposed to do!) They keep blaming COVID.it's been 3 years.time to figure out your business model. During the winter there were evenings we had cars backed up for literally over a mile

The Envera systems was installed about 6 months ago at my community and it has been beyond awful since day one. When people arrive at the security box, most of the time it consistently takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes for someone to answer, if not not longer. This causes cats to back up sometimes into the main road and turning lane. The people who do answer the calls often are not looking at the correct information on their end so when you say where you're going and who you're trying to see you're then denied entry.
The system also consistently breaks down or has poor connection through the microphone and speaker so when someone does answer there are times when you are unable to communicate with them due to static or connection problems on one side or the other. Overall, poorly designed and maintained system, causes more harm than it does good, and we've started having vandalism in our neighborhood because there is nobody watching the walk in gate anymore. Also, due to the systems poor maintenance we have more people trying to sneak through the gate directly behind another car so the gates are damaged more often. DO NOT USE.

This system is dog water. Absolutely terrible. We live in a community that has this. Avoid this garbage at all costs. If you are a single person living on your own with no one else to let you in. If you DO NOT have your ID, you're basically SOL. They DON'T answer the phone, the QR scanner is unreadable 50% of the time. The people EVEN THOUGH you're in the system will not whatsoever let you in.
You better park your car and walk to BFE to be able to grab your ID to get back out and THEN be able to get in. Because nobody wants to pay no goddamn $50 for a stupid window scanner that's breaks within the year because you live in FL and you need to replace it. Or let's say maybe you have a rental vehicle. There's literally no way to getting inside besides having to wait for someone else. With this being said. F this system and it's employees.

The company seems to only be concerned with their bottom line. Virtual agents appear to be overloaded with gate calls and the supervisors are not customer friendly when contacted about an issue. My guess is that when a community does not renew with them it doesn't faze them one bit because they keep signing up new ones. Bad business practice because eventually it will catch up to them that they will lose more than they will gain.

Incompetent. They should do better training of those they choose to monitor the gate. I've had several issues where 1. They were letting someone in as me bc we had the same last name so obviously not checking ID as he is male and I am female and we have different addresses and names. 2. Letting a person in bc he was "accidentally scanned" to someone else's name so I didn't receive a call of him entering for months. I'd hate for someone to have a domestic situation with them holding their life in their hands. They'd be DOA.
I was told by Envera that if there are several ppl waiting in line, they automatically let them all in to streamline things. Defeats the purpose of a "manned gate". This service is very pricey according to our HOA and I see no benefit. You'd be better off with a regular call system or a live person on site.

I just moved out a community in Homestead, Florida that switched from manned security to Envera almost a year ago. I may have moved out because I got a job opportunity to elsewhere. but one thing I was most thankful for was that I never had to use this security company again! How does remote security work lol? Especially when people can and did tailgate all the time.
The security company also always had the gates open on holidays. what did criminals go on vacation? I also hated the long lines it would cause and the frustration I felt whenever I ordered from Uber eats and they had problems getting in. And the crazy thing is. my fees only went down $5 from my community switching from manned security to this. not worth it.

One of your working literally about hit me on 408 and orange blossom trail. I had to run off the road. Instead of apologizing he drove about 5 mph on the 408 to stay away from me. He didn't know if he hit me or not. You don't have honest workers and if he would have drove fast enough for me to get his vehicle number i would be calling on him right now.

I called Palmetto Locksmith today to have a key made for our front door. We live in Palmetto and my husband I and both believe in giving our business to local establishments if possible. The dispatcher was typing in my address to notify rhe driver before I could even asked the price. I finally managed to get a price to have them come out and make is a key.
I was told the service charge was $95.00 and the key was $45. When the service man arrived he went to work. When he was finished and the one key was ready I had a bill for $203. I was told that the extra cost was because I had a keyless entry and because I did not have a current key. I called the Palmetto Locksmith back after paying the technician to discuss the additional $72.
I basically got no where except that I was taken for an additional $72. Stay away from Palmetto Locksmith. Not only are they unethical in their pricing, they will not admit to their mistakes and refund your balance. I could have bought an entire locking system for what I paid them. It was ridiculous! Shame on me for calling them out! Never again!

So happy to be moved out of a place who used this "security" company. So absolutely terrible. When it rains, which is almost all the time in Central Florida, the laser scanner can't read your bar code, so you have to get out of your car, in the rain, wipe off the bar code, fast enough for the laser to scan it, while angry cars line up behind you. Cars are always pulling up to the gate without a bar code, and there is no button for them to press to call someone to let them in, so cars pile up behind and there is no room for them to back up.
People we put on the access list are always stuck waiting at the speaker, for access. A few times the gate shut right in front of my parent's car right after they were granted access. To add to the insult, one time the security guard yelled at them after the gate shut in front of their car, AFTER they were granted access. Just the absolute worst. Do not hire this company. Do not move into a complex who uses this company, if you can help it.

A NIGHTMARE of a company to deal with. So so soooooooo incompetent and disorganized. This "company" is a sick joke. I cannot express how difficult they have made a SIMPLE request. I'd rather try to literally jump obstacles than deal with the bullshit they put me through ever again. Spare yourselves.

This system is really disappointing. 50% of the time I want to go to my own home, I have to wait at least 5 or 10 minutes. They do not provide me with a my to the residents gate because "I have enough" when they have no idea who I live with or any other information. I have been locked out very late at night which makes me come to the conclusion that this system is more of an endangerment to our citizens than a viable security measure for an already gated community. The concept is good but execution is flawed and therefore an inconvenience.
