There are two types of tests to perform: testing signals within your home and testing the signal from your home to the monitoring center. The procedures vary slightly depending on the manufacturer of the system. If you have one, refer to the owners' manual to test according to your system type. If not, the following test procedures should apply to most alarm systems.

My alarm system has worked great the past few years and all the technicians have been professional and friendly! The office staff, however, is very confused and probably needs further training. It is really hard to schedule an appointment. After about 8 back and forth phone calls I was told to stay home until I got a call 30 minutes before the technician came.
They also kept calling the wrong phone number to contact me and gave the technician the wrong number. I stayed home all day and the technician finally came at 5pm. A window of time would've been appreciated, most days I don't have a full day to stay in and wait. I do appreciate the work and demeanor of the technician.

I recently got an alarm installed after my home was broken into. Delco Alarm responded in no time and was over instantly to set it up for me. Justin, the sales associate/technician, was knowledgeable and professional. He set everything up and explained their monitoring system and phone app. Would highly recommend. A +

I have been using Delco Alarm for over 20 years both at work and for my personal properties. Always get prompt service. The crews are good at what they do. Clean and courteous to our staff at work and have no problem leaving them in my home when we aren't there. If you are looking for a good local alarm contractor I would highly recommend this company.

Working with Justin was easy and he was extremely responsive to my numerous questions. He is very prompt at responding to phone calls, emails, etc. The installation was easy and the installer was very concerned to make sure the areas I wanted the cameras to focus on were to my satisfaction. Delco Alarm has been my security company of choice for the last 20+ years. They have monitored 3 of my homes so far. The owners and employees are very knowledgeable and professional. They are always on the cutting edge of the technology. I moved into a new home last year and Delco installed a state of the art system for me. I can control everything from an app on my phone. Have had an absolute frustrating time with this contractor for my small business. From the estimating to install to service. Very long story to short, the work project consisted of installing a new fire alarm and security system in a 6,000 sq foot building. Estimating/Installation was done incorrectly and things were not checked over fully and problems starting coming up.
Service crews came back out over and over and either didn't accept faults or couldn't find the issues. Each time they tried to send me bills that I declined and had to include their president on emails saying I paid thousands of dollars to have a working system and now almost 8 months later still has issues. As a small business owner I understand we are not perfect but man own up to what your a pro at and work your job like I'm going to feed you many new referrals.unfortunately I will now defer people from using Delco.
I hate doing this but this was a rough go at it for me with these guys. **Joe(manager on their team) is the reason I gave them 2 instead of 1 stars. He at least has tried to help.
