Went in and dropped 2200 on a radio, amp, box, two subs, and 4 new door speakers.came out with a cracked dash from amp installation that I'm sure they know they did and never told me about and a broken panel for the window and door lock again not told about. also the two speakers in the rear doors lasted about 3 months before they blew.

They are very fast talkers, they don't disclose all the full information, only states what makes it sounds good! I spent a decent amount on an new system all around (speakers, radio, amp, subwoofer) i get everything installed, i notice one of my apps aren't working that is on the radio, Sirus xm to be exact, it's blacked out, i go back to the place to ask him why isn't it working and i had sirus xm on my previous radio the app worked to find out that i had to purchase an additional piece to make it work $150 extra dollars.

Also for the seller to tell me i could install the app on my phone? l brought the radio i wanna use the apps that are on the radio, not go through my phone? The app came preinstalled. If purchasing make sure they disclose everything!

Place is full of idiots. They think prefab boxes that are tuned high sound good straight stuck in 2002.and they adjust gains by ear. Get with the times. Get a scope.

They would not wear masks and this was at the beginning to middle of the pandemic. The owner argued with me and talked down to me, probably because I was a woman. Their estimates didn't at all match or come close to other estimates that I had gotten.

I just called this place to ask them to help me out with my noise cancellation. He was really nice until he asked if I needed to purchase a system also. Once I said no he tells me that I could bring it but they probably could not get to it because they are busy installing for customers that purchase from them!? Really!

I will never come back to this place. My car wasn't their priority Bc I didn't buy my speakers and radio from them it's been there two days and they said they were starting on it at 8 this morning but still have yet to start. Do not recommend!

I very highly recommend over anyone. I was turned away from other installers telling me the radio wouldn't fit my truck. My first positive impression was I wasn't ask what radio do I want or how much are you willing to spend Instead I was asked what features are you looking for Turns out the radio that no one could install just required cutting a non structured piece of plastic, they went the extra mile, and the finished job looked like it came from factory. Don't waste time go straight to NORTON STEREO

There's tons of pop up places who would install a sound system but none that I would trust the way I trust Norton's. They've done great work for me in the past and I was impressed they could easily pull up the receipt to learn what I had previously. Over the past ten years there has been a very big increase in prices and tariffs which is not all their fault but I can say it's worth it having something of quality installed by professionals.

The owner was very patient in looking up my previous system and even more patient in finding a smaller package since I have a smaller car now. I remember having the same service from him as I did before and is what brought me back.

My experiences working with the owner so far has been great. He was kind enough to answer questions and honest enough to give me the answers (even things I didn't want to hear about my vehicle). I'll be back when the radio I need is in stock.

I upgraded my stock radio to a mid priced, touch screen unit with Bluetooth, usb jack, aux jack and a back up camera. The rear back up cam stopped working after a year or so. I stopped over to see if they could do anything and without question they quickly replaced it in 20 minuets. I really appreciate the quick, honest service. Thanks for taking good care of me.

This past summer I got a subwoofer and amp installed for $375. When I got a new car, I called Norton's to see if they could rewire it into my new car. The older man acted as if this was a ridiculous request, and made it seem like they could only do it if I hurried. He was extremely rude and treated my business as if it was an inconvenience. I brought it in only to be told it would be $177 just to rewire it (outrageous compared to other places). The older man who works here has been rude to my brother who also brought his business here. Never again will I pay a company who treats customers as if they are a problem.

I went to Norton's Stereo on Broad River Road this morning. I WILL NEVER spend another dollar in any location after the treatment I received. The owner Larry Norton was rude and prejudiced. I asked him to give me a round a bout figure on the cost to install and amp that I own in my Lexus. He said he needed to see the car. I advised him that it wasn't with me but that I would bring it back but just wanted to know the range that they usually charge for cars like mine.

He stated, most people that drive a Lexus come in with a suit on. What a jerk. I was in my work uniform and he insinuated that because I didn't have a suit on I shouldn't have a Lexus. Mr. Norton don't be mad because I can afford to drive what you think that the working African American cannot. I hope everyone stops spending money with you. Let's see what you can afford when that happens.

I have used Larry, Hunter & Jurgen to install stereos in 4 or 5 different vehicles and every time they are helpful & professional. High quality work at a fair price. I do not know what else you can ask.

The nerve of this place! I go in Thursday 22nd Nov. and ask for a quote for a Viper Alarm to be installed! So the owner Larry Quoted me $600! He looked up what needed to get it going. Tells me to come back 8am tom. So I come back Fri. The fukkers says it can't be done without having 2 keys. We covered that & they looked it up already. Clearly pointing out it didn't need 2 keys.

Somehow a new install guys comes in and pointed out what they missed. So me not having 2 keys I rushed to the dealer & had a new key made for my 04 rx8! Costing me $160! Trying to have remote start installed seems to be a pain. Then they tell me again to come back 8am the next night morning! So I sent my wife & son to drop my car off to have a Viper Alarm installed for the 3rd attempt!

Stupid Larry the owner says he can't now! I wonder why I go to this fucking place anyways! Why aren't they out of business? Because it's a shitty business where retailers have a hard time making that's why! I've given these fukker'a a shit load of my money over the yrs. lol He don't appreciate anyone! They will never get another dollar from me!
