After WWII America's GI's came home and relocated all across the nation. As WWII combat veterans themselves, our founders recognized that Fraternal Organizations and private clubs of all varieties were springing up across the nation as vets and their families sought out local places to gather. The club managers and administrative assistants needed a system that would allow them to collect their annual dues in addition to granting access to the club location.Necessity is the mother of invention; as a result, we patented the Card Lock system and literally invented the term "card key".
Card Lock Company provides solutions for access control systems including electric door strikes and card readers for a variety of key card access systems to meet your specific needs. Electric strikes are electromechanical locks that are placed on the inside of the door frame. When electrical power is supplied to the electric strike it holds the latch or lock bolt in place, and keeps the door securely locked until the release system is activated.
Card Lock Company provides smart card door access control system technology that delivers the most secure type of key card with a higher level of encryption than a standard proximity or RFID cards. Security threats have increased over the years, yet many organizations continue to use outdated access control technologies that allow for unnecessary vulnerabilities.
Key cards are great. However, people may forget their cards or lose them, and the card readers tend to have a short range. This is a particular problem for garage and gate access. On top of that, the cards themselves involve plastic and chemicals. One solution for many clubs is to choose mobile access control instead (or as well).

I am responsible for the security system for Birmingham City Schools with 43 schools and almost 25,000 students. We have used Card Lock Company's Maxxess eFusion System for several years and it has worked extremely well for us. It Is highly adaptable and as our needs have grown and changed so has the product. The service is excellent and unlike our former system, we can get support when we need it.
