With little money and no collateral to purchase a building and pay for its utilities Robert opted to buy a bread truck to work out of and hired an answering service to handle the few phone calls he expected to receive. It was finally official when he registered his company with the state and opened a PO Box in Red Bank, New Jersey; Allied Fire & Safety Equipment Company, Inc. was born.A year later Allied, staffed with only 3 employees, was experiencing growing pains as they looked for more ways to expand their business.
