In the market for home security in NJ - This is the place you want to call. Mike and his team is nothing but prompt, professional and easy to work with. He took my call and came over the same day to take a look at the place to consult on what was needed; didn't oversell or try to add on anything additional and was very upfront on what was unnecessary. Joe and his colleague were top notch in installing the equipment as well, took the time to ensure everything was up and running and was very knowledgeable on what they were installing. Overall, competitive pricing, good equipment and from a company with good standing - highly recommend!

My wife and I hired GuardMe to update our security system and add some cameras and are very happy with the service we received. They started by selling us exactly what we were looking for and not overselling us on products we did not need. The installers were extremely friendly, helpful and the work was done in a neat and clean manner.

We are on day two of being GuardMe customers and thus far, I'm very pleased. GuardMe is a subsidiary of BRINKS and was our contact via an Alarm.com inquiry for a new system. Within a couple hours, I had an email from a sales rep (Mike) who gathered my info in what I wanted, costs associated, etc. Mike provided his personal cell phone and despite it being 9PM on the east coast, still responded quickly to messages I didn't expect to receive a response to until next day. GuardMe selected a local sub-contractor, Americas Security Group, who did a great job on the install.
It's evident GuardMe appreciates their customers, selects quality installers and goes the extra mile compared to ADT and other big names. As a prior ADT customer, I'm very happy to have made the switch and actually have security experts dealing with our home security needs. Highly recommended.

After researching 5 security systems, we chose GuardMe Security because of the helpful customer service, our neighbors' recommendations, and the value. This company provided a comprehensive system for the best price. Navid was a helpful salesperson, and he is providing ongoing tech support to make sure that we get the most usage from our new system. We have recommended this system to others. Update- leaving this system was not as smooth. They add charges at termination.

Just had our Install completed. Was very sceptical from the beginning. A NJ based company handling our install here in Central Indiana. Hmmmm. However, the process from the very beginning with Donna to today went stellar! Donna was with us the whole way through! Easy Account set up, Brilliant install, with Tristan, which took about 3 hours and we were left with THE perfect system. I'm a Tech Freak and I am stunned at the ease of use and operability. Additionally, from the time of signing our Agreement to the install it took just 4 business days! Amazing! Great Job, Donna and crew!

Brinks Home Security sent a contractor to replace a broken control panel. The contractor was unprofessional and rude! And, I still had a problem. After several attempts trying to contact Brinks, I demanded a new contractor. Finally, they sent Guard Me who I was very familiar with. Eugene, from Guard Me, was on time, extremely professional and knowledgeable. He understood my problem and quickly addressed it. Finally, after two weeks of multiple calls to Brink, Guard Me resolved my problem.

My wife and I just purchased our first home and wanted to have a security system set up. Called GuardMe and spoke with Joseph Jaghab. He was awesome! Very friendly and very helpful. As first time home buyers he made us feel very comfortable and it never felt like he was trying to oversell us anything. The system was set up very quickly by a technician named Eugene.
Overall a great experience. The system has been set up for just about 2 weeks and it meets all of our needs. Very happy with GuardMe! Might think about adding some additional products in the future.

I had the pleasure of signing up with GuardMe through Mike Gawler. Mike made me feel at ease with signing up with GuardMe. I had contacted and researched many companies before and I just wasn't sure. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, honest and really cares about the customers. He did not try to sell me anything I did not need and customized my alarm system to my specific needs.
I could not have had a better experience. I would recommend GuardMe to anyone looking for home security but I would say ask for Mike, he will take care of you and he's just a really nice guy. He is very patient as I asked many questions and put him through the wringer, anyone else would have moved on to the next call but he was there throughout it all even while I researched him and the company while he was on the phone. I am very satisfied with the exceptional level of customer service.

I had a great experience with GuardMe security! After shopping several security companies I had the pleasure of speaking with Michael Gawler from GuardMe. Michael was very knowledgeable, gave me his full attention, explained the options and guided me to the security system that best fit my needs. The install was scheduled quickly and went very smoothly. The follow up and customer service could not be any better! I highly recommend GuardMe. BL

Yes they are a national company that uses local contractors. SO WHAT! The company is on their game. Only complaint and it is a compliment. LOTS OF FOLLOW UP CALLS and they TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS. What more can one ask? The back end is alarm.com, which I also love as they are constantly upgrading their software as well as add on items that can be controlled via the app.

Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from this company. They are a national company that uses local sub-contractor installers, who in our case did sub-par work on the install.took 3 visits to get alarm functional and there are still items to be done to clean up the installation, yet all we get from Anthony Porto, who is in the Operations Department back in NJ is a bunch of rhetoric, saying he'll talk to someone and get back to us, which doesn't happen. I've complained to the salesman who we dealt with in buying the system, Jason Roberts.and his response is always the same, "I am at a loss.
I have forwarded this chain of emails to our VP, second only to the owner.".yet nothing happens. Below is the email I sent to Jason and Anthony on August 28th: On Sun, Aug 28, 2016 at 1:49 PM, Chip wrote: Gentlemen, I'm at the ultimate point of frustration with your company and don't know what to do next.so I'm reaching out to ask that my concerns be escalated to someone above Anthony, because while he seems like a nice enough person, none of my concerns have been remedied working through him. Further to that, I communicated to Anthony exhaustively 2 weeks ago that I wanted to get an installer out to get things buttoned up that week while I was in Boise where this investment property is located.
The results? No installer was scheduled or came by to address my concerns.no yard sign was delivered as promised. I got no follow-up on why I got a voicemail about "possibly" dispatching the police for an alarm event at the house.and no follow-up from the supposed meeting with Monitronics reps, nor any follow-up from Anthony when he said he would look into why the remote activity I'm seeing on Alarm.com isn't matching up with actual events at the home.
Instead I get 2-3 line cryptic email responses from Anthony that are clearly just an attempt to check the box of replying and then he moves on to what are apparently other, more important issues. As such, I'm respectfully requesting that my concerns be escalated to someone that will engage and resolve our issues/concerns. Here's where we stand right now: 1.
I have no yard sign, or window stickers for our home. 2. I have at least 2 window sensors that were applied in a half ass manner (on brand new windows, which is what makes them stand out) and would like them straightened out and the window casings cleaned up from the sloppy glue residue all over them. 3. I paid $30 for an external siren PLUS an additional $30 for an external siren power supply PLUS an additional $11.01 for an external siren transformer.so a total of $71.01 for some cheap plastic box that won't withstand one winter in Boise. @Jason- when I said I wanted an external siren, I was referring to one that goes on the outside of the home, such that neighbors can hear when our alarm goes off.
Never did I imagine I'd be paying $70 for a plastic box with a 6' power supply cord that is only worthy of plugging into an outlet inside the garage. Anthony indicated in his last cryptic note that the panel doesn't have enough power to push "a more out".which I think was intended to mean that the included alarm panel can't provide enough power for a true external siren.but that should have been disclosed up front. 4. I'd like to know why the activity that I discussed and sent detailed screen shots to Anthony don't reflect actual activity in the home? 5. I'd like to know why I got the voicemail that I did from Monitronics monitoring service after an alarm activation.caused by a poor installation of 1 of our motion sensors, stating that the police "may" be dispatched?
I anxiously await a contact from someone other than Anthony, so that we can get these concerns addressed. Respectfully submitted, Chip And after getting no response to that August 28th email, I sent the below email to the owner on September 14th.and have yet to hear anything from him either: Sent: Wednesday, September 14, 2016 2:06:12 PM Subject: Fwd: Alarm completion Craig, FYI the below email trail.
As you can see, I've been less than impressed with your company's performance In getting our Boise investment property's alarm system installed to our level of expectation. This latest email that I just sent to Jason Roberts was returned to me as undeliverable, so I can only assume he has left the company, which only adds to my angst.
Please know that I'm not a novice to how alarm system installs are supposed to work, as we have 4 systems currently operating at various business and residential properties in Northern California. Also note that I wasn't installing your standard entry level freebie system, instead spec'ing out a featured system that met our needs for this property.and willing to pay for the features we wanted. I eagerly await some immediate resolution to my concerns, or an appointment to remove your equipment and full refund issued. Respectfully, Chip

I want to write a review about Michael Gawler, and GuardMe Security. It was one thing to write a review when I first got the service but I want to write a review as a grateful and established customer. When I first contacted this company Michael truly made me feel like he was my trusted advisor. He did so at a time when I really needed professional guidance and help.
Fast forward one year and I am still so happy with this wonderful service, and I still see Michael as a trusted professional advisor. In a time of rotten customer service I salute this fine organization. It is sometimes hard to take a step back from life and see what is truly good. I had a chance to do that today and one of the things I am grateful for is this company.
They make me feel secure knowing my home is well guarded and I know that if I ever need anything, they will be there. In this day and age that is a very, very rare thing. Big up to Michael Gawler and the GuardMeSecurity team!

Had a great experience dealing with the GuardMe team. They offer an amazing product at a reasonable price. I felt comfortable with the customer service as they are very professional and always willing to help and answer any questions. I especially liked how punctual they were when it came to installing the equipment. Everything turned out great and the equipment is much easier to use than my old system. If anyone is looking for an easy to use security system and excellent customer service this is the company to use.

After my wife and I purchased our new home we began to search for a good alarm system. We spoke to ADT, VIVINT, FrontPoint, and Protect America. We almost went with ADT, but my brother-in-law who has Monitronics showed us how his system worked, and we really liked the interface. I called inquired to Monitronics and was contacted by Jason Roberts from GuardMe Security.
He was super straight forward with us, and what I liked the most is how easy it was to get in touch with him, by phone and by email. One of the things that we liked is that although GuardMe was not the least expensive, they offered the most bang for the buck compared to the other providers. We signed up for the service, and he had a tech come out a couple days later to do the install.
When the installer came to the house, we ran into a bit of an issue with the sliding glass doors. We just had impact windows and doors installed throughout the whole house, and when the installer put the wireless door sensors where he normally would put them, the door was too close and they would pop off the minute the door was opened. We ultimately needed three more wireless sensors.
One of the biggest things I didn't like about other companies is that I wasn't interested in having an installer come out and nickel and dime me for extra equipment. Jason DID NOT. Although the sensors not fitting was not his fault, he covered the cost of the three additional sensors and had them quickly shipped to our home. So far we have had the system for just under 2 months, and have been very happy with the system. We would definitely recommend GuardMe and Monitronics, and more importantly we appreciate the awesome sales and service by Jason Roberts!

My wife and I just purchased our very first home on our 1 yr wedding anniversary. Naturally, one of the first things we needed was a security system to protect not only our family, but our investment. After shopping and comparing other companies we decided on GuardMe and had the fortunate opportunity to be connected with Kevin Martinez. Kevin made the whole experience that much better by his professional and sharp knowledge of his product. GuardMe is a top notch company and no other can really compete with their brand. Installation was quick and painless and was explained everything until I was comfortable to the fullest. A+ customer service and overall experience. We will be customers for as long as we own our home.

So I recently moved into a new home and needed a good security system to protect my home while I'm home & away. I priced a couple other security systems online & over the phone, but when I called GuardMe Security and found out what they had to offer and the minimal costs that I'd pay monthly, I didn't hang up the phone until I set up my installation date.
I spoke with Kevin for my initial call and I feel like his only customer. He always answers my questions in a timely manner & checks on me from time to time just to see how things have been since my security set up. I have had no problem at all with my GuardMe Security System and it is very easy to use & understand. I would definitely recommend GuardMe to anyone searching for a reliable security system.

I have been on the fence about getting a security system for the past year or so, but recently there have been incidents around the neighborhood that got me off the fence. So, for the past two months I have been in contact with a sales representative, Navid at Guardme. I'm the type of person who does constant research and asks questions because I want to make sure that the product I'm purchasing isn't going to make me regret my decisions and Navid has been nothing but helpful.
He seems very knowledgeable about the products and wasn't too pushy when it came to making me buy. When purchasing a security system, it's an investment and you need time to mull things over. Eventually I decided to go with the Z-wave set up because of the possibilities it gives me, and I'm kind of a tech geek. I mean, who can turn down the ability to turn your lights off and on from your phone while your on your way to work?
So after making the purchase I scheduled a date a couple of days out to get the installation done. I received two touch screen panels which was kinda cool and one Z-wave socket to get me started. I also purchased one indoor and two outdoor cameras. All in all the whole installation process took about 4 hours between the guy going up on the roof and running wires through my basement and attic.
Everything is out of sight, and the installer even cleaned up after himself which doesn't happen very often (VERIZON FIOS GUY!) It's been a weekend and a couple of days with the system and I can say that I really love it! The coolest thing is that I can see everything that is going on in the living room and take pictures ALL FROM MY PHONE. I'm looking to purchase some more Z-wave stuff and maybe add a camera to my backyard, so I'll probably be reaching out to Navid again since he gave me his direct line and said call for anything. I definitely can recommend these guys to anyone and if you're a techy like me, go with the Z-wave. It lets you do some really cool stuff with your phone

My experience with Guardme started out as a very frustrating experience. After discussing issues with the Sales and Operations department, my situation was forwarded to the President of the company. While initially I felt like no one cared, the President, operations and sales departments went above and beyond to make things right. They were successful in making a frustrated customer very happy. Thanks to Craig, Navid and Richard for making me a very satisfied customer.

Nobody wants to sign a long term contract with a provider and then realize they are stuck with a company that doesn't care once the $ is their bank. Doesn't seem to be the case with guardme as far as I can tell. After some google diving, I chose guardme for a security system for a business. I was connected to Navid on the phone to assist me.
He was extremely patient and clear about what I would be receiving. He threw in extras that sealed the deal. I needed to get the installation done asap and he made sure to make that happen. It was the friday before labor day on monday, but he did not rush me as many would do, eager to start their long weekend. Installation guy came on time the following week and was courteous and professional.
I wish I could remember his name! A few weeks later I had issues signing into the website and when I called Navid he answered with my name (I guess caller id?) and had my problem resolved immediately. Honeslty it is sooooo hard to find companies that provide efficient service and genuine care and I believe guardme is one that does. Price is competitive if not better and the hardware I received appear modern and dependable. Very happy thus far!

I copied my review from Google so if you read it there its the same thing here - all good. Guardme first did a really nice sales job - great follow up emails and kept my attention, and when I finally did buy (and I shopped around), based on their reputation online and my sales guy (Kevin Colleymore) - I got a great deal and more importantly so far excellent follow on service.
I had a couple hiccups hooking up some z-wave home automation and also when something from my old system (they used my mostly hardwired house) didn't work right - they just GAVE me new wireless versions (one window sensor and a motion sensor) - great service! I tend to hate the customer service everywhere these days and I am going out of my way to say nice things about GuardMe as i had a really great experience. Thanks Guardme.
