Worst company ever! I moved and wanted a home security system. I received numerous fliers from ADT so I finally called and set up a time for it to be installed. The technician was 2 hours late past his 2 hour time frame for him to be there. He didn't have the proper equipment and ended up coming back 3 more times and was late every single time!
Then the system failed because it had a bad back up battery. So every time the system would show a low battery it would call my cell phone and the system would beep for hours on end. So after 3 weeks of trying to get it fixed I finally had an appointment to have the technician come out and fix it. Only for him to not show up once again and when I call customer service and as I am speaking to Edgar he texts me to tell me he doesn't have a battery for the system.
So of course I lose it on Edgar who gets a hold of the technician and all of a sudden he has a battery. Then Edgar tells me that I will not be charged for May because of the poor service I received in April. Of course I was charged for May.and June. and now I am filing a complaint with the BBB because this is the worst service ever. Plus just FYI if you go with ADT you are locked in a 3 year contract and if you break it they report it to the credit companies and it effects your score. STAY AWAY from this company!

I am completely appalled at the level of service from this Authorized Dealer. I signed a 2 year contract for my new home and the wireless sensor on my MBR has never worked and I cannot set the alarm using the standard away programming function nor can I use my remotes that I paid extra for. This company sent an installer to my house to resolve in late August and it's still not working.
In spite of this, I've continued to pay my monthly service fees without hesitation. The final straw has been today when I set up a 3rd appointment with Home Alert for 8 am and they did not show up or contact me. When I finally called them they advised that they installer was on their way and would arrive by 12:15. It is now 1:30 and they are no where to be found.
As far as the ADT system, it seems like a good system but I cannot speak to that since the only way to activate it is to use a bypass function which is not what I'm paying for.

This ADT dealer is the real DEAL! I called them after I had a break in and they were quick to quote me a price over the phone based on my needs and wants. Unlike other dealers I called, they asked me all the right questions and got my whole house (all doors and windows) protected for the lowest price from all other dealers. They even gave me a better deal than if I would have gotten my equipment directly from ADT.
The installer Danny who came to my home was also great. He was on time, professional, and best of all did a clean job at my home. He brought a tarp to place his tools on which was great for my tile floors, and even had a vacuum in his vehicle for houses with carpets. Lastly, he was very thorough and patient when explaining and answering all my questions about the system. He was also able to do this all in a reasonable amount of time and I have not had a problem with my system since getting it installed in June.
