Bear Creek Lock Safe & Alarm

We embarked on our first day of our SF to Portland road-trip and it was while in Ashland that I realized I left my Thule keys at home. My dreams of camping under the Oregonian start were at risk. After crying into a breakfast burrito I started googling locksmiths. Over the phone, Bear Creek Lock & Safe assured me this would be a quick fix. I arrived and within 5 minutes had a replacement key. Amazing, fast service at a great price ($31)

My wife had a bad experience with bear creek lock. She went to have her "do not duplicate" keys duplicated. They wouldn't copy the keys which normally would be acceptable except for she made them there, which she told them and their reply was should have had an account created as if she was supposed to know she needed that, since they never offered originally.

So she then trys to provide proof of ownership of business in mutiple ways a check with business name, debit and credit cards with business name, even pull up the google business account. They rejected all attempts

I just flew into town to have my 99-year-old grandmother's safety deposit box lock changed, after she lost both keys. The bank told me I'd need to make an appointment a couple of days ahead for a locksmith to meet me at the bank. So I looked around and this company looked reputable. I made an appointment and a nice young man texted me to assure me he would meet me at the agreed upon time.

Then I arrived at the bank to learn they had failed to specify I needed to use their one specific locksmith. I was so frustrated and embarrassed and immediately texted the locksmith I had booked to let him know. These folks couldn't have been nicer or more understanding. I actually expected to be charged for the late cancellation. They simply wished me good luck with my predicament. If I need a locksmith again, I wouldn't hesitate to call this company.

Very nice locksmith, Alonso, came out and rekeyed our new home today. I liked they text you their name prior to their service call. He texted when he was going to be a few minutes late. Very courteous! He fixed a deadbolt that was not working and provided several keys right on site. I would recommend them and use their services again. Thank you!

Jose came the other day on very short notice to change all the locks on my house and garage. Not only did he do it in a timely manner, but he offered to grind down part of the old garage door so it was easier to dead bolt. Very professional and would recommend to anyone.

Chris did a great job. I managed to lock myself out of my house (a first I think) and it didn't take too long for him to get me back in. He also identified some surplus keys that had been hanging around causing confusion when trying to find the lock they belonged to. He did very good work and was very pleasant to work with. Definite recommendation.

They came to my rescue when another, unamed locksmith company, took an inordinate amount of time, damaged my locks and door handles then left with some parts and other parts left on porch or floors; I could not secure my home. Bear Creek responded quickly, were awesome to work with and the price affordable. A most respectable company!

Only locksmith I use- PERIOD. Always able to get me scheduled quickly. Today was same day service and they offered a YELP 10% off entire service discount. I hear they can do auto keys that have the chip too. Personally, I stay with what works and this biz has never let me down. From quick service to keeping their appointments and having competitive rates, why would I go elsewhere?

Really disappointed with Bear Creek Lock. I bought a new to me motorcycle & one of the accessories had a lock & no key. I stopped by to have them name a key, expecting it would take a bit of time, but I've had it done at other locksmiths before. The first time is show up they acted like this was an unusual request. I explained that it didn't come with a key for that particular accessory.

They fumbled around with a key for about 10 minutes, then told me I had to come back another time, that they didn't have time to work on it, they had too much other stuff a head of me. I was the only one in their shop. That was on a Friday I showed up on Tuesday again to get a key made. The guy working in the shop made all kinds of excuses why he couldn't take care of it.

As I turned to walk out he found tell I was annoyed, especially after I told him I had already been there once before. He again tried fumbling with the lock, then told me he had too much other stuff to work on & that I needed to come back. Sorry, but I will never be back. You've lost this customer!

Charlie was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. I needed duplicate keys of a Schlage G type blank, which was relatively rare in this town, but when I called Bear Creek Lock, they quickly found the correct key over the phone. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and my duplicates were completed in minutes. Charlie simultaneously educated me about the nuances about the Schlage G type key that made its previous/failed duplication at another store a easy mistake. Charlie guaranteed the keys' success, but they would be easily refunded if not. Two Schlage G type duplicates totaled at $9.00. Bear Creek Lock Safe & Alarm Inc. will be my definite choice for the next specialized key I need duplicated.
