Vintage technicians Robert and Frank came to my current home last Friday for an uninstall of equipment. They were very professional, extremely knowledgeable regarding equipment and took the time to answer my many questions. I look forward to working with them for my re-install at new home in a few weeks. Robert and Frank made me feel my new home will be just as secure as my current home and I look forward to working with them. Thank you!

Our business has been with Vintage alarm for almost 20yrs. Recently, we had an incident. I had to be proactive for the safety of my parents and customers. I spoke with Gage and he was so informative and assiduous. He had the cameras set-up the following week. Tyler was the tech who set-up the cameras. He was meticulous and thorough. Gage and Tyler's work ethic is rare to encounter nowadays. Vintage should be proud to have such diligent employees that represent their company in an outstanding way. Gage made the whole process so easy. You can't put price on safety. Look no more if that is what you want. Vintage will not disappoint!

We have had alot of problems with this security system when we had reinstalled when we bought the home. We were never told about a maintenance contract until i called with a problem. I tried to troubleshoot the app for the doorbell camera after we lost power and it hadnt worked for months. I finally got it to work and then it happened all over again.
The only time it actually worked was when it rained. It never detected deliveries. The sad part is we are paying for something that doesnt even work half the time, and i refuse to pay for maintenance fees which we were never told about from the beginning. So the system will stay in place till its paid in full and then i will be finding a new security system. Personally i wouldnt recommend to to anyone.

Equipment is junk have had problems with cameras ever since day one. I have had this alarm system for somewhere between 6-8 months. Now that basically nothing is working correctly and can't be fixed over an hour phone call trying to troubleshoot. Vintage will gladly come out for $108 and $27 every 15 minutes to diagnose the problem and also charge for any bad equipment which in my mind is more than one component of their system. Equipment should last longer than 6-8 months.

This would have been more stars but I feel we were oversold on products we didn't necessarily need and they weren't entirely explained as to what their use would be. I thought we were getting outlets in our recess boxes, not ridiculously massive wattboxes - which we have no use for. Disappointed that the sales team seems to be about pushing product rather than clearly explaining what you might need.
I also contact them early on after discovering we had no need for the product and they advise there was nothing they could do. I also blame myself for not researching more. But then again, I'm not the expert so relied on their guidance. No issues so far, only 2 months in. For the service this would be 4-5 Stars but for the sales team.

I have been with this company for 4 years although I don't know what I was thinking when I signed the 5 year contract. The equipment has always messed up. The camera hasn't worked in 2 years (I just stopped calling about the camera) and I am disappointed that I will not be able to cancel until my agreement is up next year without paying over $400.00. I will never get in a contract with another security company. I'll pay for security outright. I truly believe I was ripped off with this one.

Vintage was recomeded to us after we had a bad experience with a worldwide alarm company. Mike Herbert was the rep that came out to our house and gave us options for our home security and monitoring. He was very informative and was not pushy and he didn't try to up sell us. We chose the gold package and they were able to use all of our existing sensors but they replaced the motherboard and brains with their equipment.
The installation was perfect! The technician that did the installation was very professional, polite, and patient with us during the whole time! We're saving 33% over what we were paying with the other company and we have a system that is more modern and able to be customized and upgraded as we see fit! We highly recommend Vintage for home alarm and monitoring!

I am so disappointed and regret so much for signing up vintage security. Here is the full story. Vintage offers various service thru builders like CraftMark for new construction. After sales rep presentation, I signed up for their WiFi system without knowing what I am going to get. At the end, I got eero 6 Dual Band Mesh WiFi system which retail price is less than $400, but Vintage charged me $1395 for exact same thing with so called " professional installation".
We all know it does not required that much installation beside plug those nodes in. I talked to my sales rep Byron and ask for return this overprice ripoff WiFi system and was told that there's nothing he can do since settlement has done and contract was signed long time ago. He said it came with the purchase of the home. I learned my lesson in hard way and wanted to share it, so that less people will be played by them.
No wonder why companies like Ring is getting so popular. You don't need to pay $1000 for so called professional installation and tech support. It is all excuses. Stay away from whatever Vintage is going to offer for your new home.

Vintage security was the most professional group of people i have ever dealt with. I can not speak highly enough about them. The sales rep was very thorough and gave me more information than needed. the technicians were great and really made sure i got what i wanted out of the system. 10/10 will use them in my next house also.

We worked with Vintage recently on products for our new construction home. The activation of these products did not go well. Their technician was inexperienced and left the installation unfinished. In addition, they sold us a "smart thermostat" system that only controls the HVAC system of half of our house, something we didn't know until it was too late to change. I've emailed with them multiple times to resolve these issues, and they fall back on unclear contract language and have no response to their inexperienced technician. Skip working with Vintage and find a company that cares about customer service.

We had vintage install an alarm and door access control system at a new location. We liked it so much we then installed it at another site. It's hard to keep up with keys and alarm codes for employees who leave or join our team. Having an enterprise wide system that allows us to easily add and delete users has been amazing. We'll likely continue to roll this out to our other locations. Install was great, service has been great, response to questions, etc. has been great. Highly recommend.

This company is only focused on making money on new construction homes and has zero interest is customer service or a quality product. I built new with QBH. We are very happy with the home but the builder made us use Vintage. You could find electricians and alarm install companies that could do a better job for a fraction of the cost. They charged us nearly $2500 just to run coaxial and Rj-45 cable in our home.
They wanted another almost $5000 to wire the doors and windows. It's a scam between builders and Vintage. All the Vintage reviews say that they'll sell you a product and good luck ever getting an actual technician or customer support to help you after you move in. This is exactly what happened to us. They told it would be THREE weeks before we could have someone out. I instead bought my own switch, wires and did the hookup myself. I would NEVER recommend this company and if your builder makes you, fight them or walk away from builder.

DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL! I was a customer for 4+ years, and all they cared about was the money. They tried charging me a maintenance fee when their equipment failed after a few short months. And now, after I had to move for work, sold my place they are charging me for a full year of service. And they cut off the service immediately when I gave them 6 weeks notice that I was moving. They are not worth it!

I just want to say that from beginning to end, especially during the pandemic, this was an extremely easy, stress free, and streamlined process. I had just moved into a new house and wanted to make sure it was secure. The sales rep came out and explained everything in person and made sure all my security needs were met. One the day of the install, the rep came by to check back to check in again.
The technician that did all of the installs (cameras, doorbell cam, window sensors, door locks) did an excellent job. He left no cords hanging and everything looked very professional (the same can't be said about other companies I've used in the past). He took the time to demo all of the features and help setup the app. 10/10 would recommend.

We had Vintage for our new construction and they have done a terrible job. Here is the first two weeks since we moved in: First, they installed window sensors for an alarm but didn't close the window. Second, they installed door sensors too far apart so the alarm went off for no reason. Third, until I complained they were going to come out a week later. Fourth, the HDMI panel they wired doesn't properly work and was installed so far from the wall that the TV won't sit flush on it. Fifth, they tried to bill $600 for monthly monitoring all at once. Sixth, they installed WAPs before Verizon hooked up the internet and never came back afterwards to configure them or show anyone how to access them. I am so sorry we used them, and will never use them for anything that we do not have to.

Vintage Security really understands how to meet your needs. I appreciate that they never tried to upsell us unneeded services, and also didn't overwhelm us with too much information. Their service is outstanding. We have used them in our prior house and also had perfect service. The quality of their product is superior to another company we considered. Knowledgeable, honest and reasonable. This company is a gem. I recommend them very highly as a customer for many years.

Builder pre-wired home for Vintage Security. I added an outdoor camera a few months ago and it STILL doesn't work more than a week without a glitch. I've had four service tech visits and they don't have a clue on how to resolve the matter. The customer service and techs are nice people but their product is very disappointing. I gave this rating two stars because the video doorbell I have has worked well since installation. If my outdoor camera issue isn't resolved next week, I'm leaving this company and going to ADT!

My home was already built and installed with the vintage Security system. After several attempts (panel, garage door opener, doorbell camera)of trying to get quality service, I was told that my product was out of warranty and I'd have to pay 95.00 service fee and any other associate cost to repair the unit. I told the rep that I will disconnected the service he says ok.
I call another company they install a new security system and when I call to cancel I'm told that I'll have to pay $650.00 termination fee. I file a BBB complaint and they wrote that they wish that I had contacted them for help, they have no record of it. Go with a better company that cares about quality customer service, cuz this company only cares about $$$

READ THE FINE PRINT. Our Sales Rep, Bill, told us that our contract was only for 2 years and then we could cancel service free of charge. 2 years later my husband called to cancel and was told we would have to pay over $700 to cancel. The customer service rep emailed us a copy of the contract and sure enough it was for 5 years. I've done research and I am not the only customer that this has happened to. I give them two stars because I have never had a problem with the system itself.

Vintage was the security buisiness that my builder used when we purchased our new house. Unfortunately for them, I do not come into the smarthome and security business blind. I am very familiar with all the options out there. I honestly do not know why anyone would use a company like Vintage when there are MUCH cheaper systems out there that you can install yourself.
It costs THOUSANDS to install a have way decent system from Vintage and then you are locked into monitoring for $45 per month if you want smart home intigration. You can easily install a COMPLETE home security system from Simplisafe or Ring for $400 to $800. With Ring, the system I went with, you pay $100 per YEAR for monitoring and that gives you complete smart home integration, and 7 days of recording from unlimited security cameras. Everything very easy to install and completely wireless. You can even add a video door bell and control everything with Amazon Alexa or Google Home.

I appreciated Josh and Vintage Security's help through the whole process of getting my security system. Josh helped me design what I needed and wanted to protect my home, give me peace of mind and stay up to date with the cool stuff too. The techs were amazing from putting little socks over their boots(even when i said dont worry about it),p utting a towel down before setting the tool bag down, wow, to making sure everything was just right before they left.
I think I would like to try out the new door locks that sync up with the security next, might make life a little easier not worrying about a key. I HIGHLY recommend using Josh and the Vintage Security team.

While their product functions most of the time, it is practically impossible to find information about integration with products I already have. Their price is higher than comparable competitors, ADT in particular as they lowered their price to expand customer base. I have had two alarm faults reported to the Police which were not from my alarm. I'm assuming they provided the wrong address to the local police department in bit cases.
If they screwed up a third time within a year I would have been billed by my local police department. On another instance, I entered from my garage, the delayed response entrance, and my alarm immediately went off into the "Panic Mode". On this plus another time I accidently tripped the alarm by going out non-delayed entrance forgetting to do a disarm.
I was never contacted to insure I was safe. Another incident two years ago, I tripped the alarm and was not contacted but they contacted the police department, who sent out an officer. I consider this mediocre service and do not have faith that they will contact me or the police when trouble has actually arrisen. When my contract expires I will be terminating their service.
