Kamco Services was founded by Dan Kammer Sr. in Williamsburg, Virginia in 1976. Today Kamco is still and owned and operated by the Kammer family and is the largest family-owned, full-service security company in the area. The business originally started as a Fire Extinguisher service in Mr. Kammer's garage.
For decades, Kamco has operated its own in-house monitoring station which is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by highly skilled Operators trained to respond to emergencies. When you call our monitoring station, you'll speak with a live person without the hassle of dialing a toll free number or navigating an automated phone system.

Best security company ever! We had another company, one that is big and well known, and had nothing but problems out of it. We switched to Kamco and love our system and service! The technicians were great and very friendly and the monitoring is local and all the time, so you are fully protected while supporting a local company! The equipment is also top notch. I would not hesitate to give Kamco a recommendation as a security company!

A commercial fire and home security company that does more than you would think. Anything from home security or AV to networking. Everything is local including the monitoring center. Actual people answer the phones and call you to let you know what's going on with your system. Nice alternative to ADT or other giant alarm company which is not personable or flexible.

Best service and price available! Don't rely on the cookie-cutter alarm service; Kamco Services is customized and less expensive. I've used Kamco Services for 8 years with 2 houses and I cannot express just how safe I feel knowing Kamco has my back. We have tried all aspects of home security and have gone the DIY route for the past few years but had never been truly satisfied. Recently, we contacted KAMCO and now we are professionally protected. Dustin set us up with exactly what we needed for cameras and an alarm system, and this is by far the best security system we have ever had! I highly recommend them for your security needs!

I decided to go with KAMCO for home security based off of the great service they provide my company (hotels, multiple locations). We always had a great experience with them in the commercial field, so I was hoping to experience the same for residential. Dustin came to my house for an assessment the same day I inquired, and had his crew installing the system 3 days later!
Talk about service! Matt and Lee were more than helpful with my questions and mindful of locations where I wanted each device installed. Very personalized service! They were clean and respectful of my home. So glad I chose a LOCAL company because they really had my best interest in mind. Would definitely recommend Dustin and his KAMCO crew to anyone!

Dustin is absolutely wonderful! He is so helpful and meets with you to go over exactly what you need and nothing more. He is always responsive and takes care of his clients. His prices never increase like other companies and it does not cost you a fortune to secure your home. In addition, his installation team was great. They did a wonderful job and were so pleasant. We switched to Kamco Services some time back and have been very pleased with their responsiveness. Dustin is very quick to resolve our issues, which are often "operator error" type items. We appreciate how patient he and his techs have always been with us. We had cameras installed about a year ago and I was amazed at how quickly the techs had the equipment and software up and running. I am a builder who has dealt with many many subcontractors in doing my business. I would rate this company as one of the best I have dealt with. What is important to me is that they arrive on time or call if they cannot, use quality materials, do their work efficiently, which includes what they are installing and in the paperwork in the office, that they give you a value price and stick to it, and provide service if needed after the installation. This company did all of these things. and in today's world that is rare. If you are looking for an alarm company Kamco Services is the one you should choose.

Dustin Howard and the technicians of Kamco Services provided our business with excellent products, customer service, and technical support. Tyco Security (ADT) quoted us a pricey package for several security cameras to be installed on our farm. The next day, Dustin arrived to view the property and turned around a significantly more affordable package with better specs.
We ran into several post-installation difficulties (lighting and placement issues); Kamco promptly dispatched technicians 3-4 separate times to make things right- at no cost to us. Overall, a great local company with superior service.
