Founded in Tom's River in 1980 by Bill Roncskevitz, Ocean Security has grown to become the leading installer of state-of-the-art security systems up and down the Jersey Shore. At the age of 16, Bill bought his first truck, and with his 17-year-old buddy set out to start an alarm business. In those days, a state-of-the-art alarm system consisted of door sensors, pressure mats, sirens and auto-dialers.

A big thank you to Ocean Security! I have used their service for over 25 years and NEVER once have I been disappointed. They not only have serviced our home but business as well. Rarely are you able to find a company that has amazing customer service as well as the service itself. They are extremely knowledgeable on ALL updated regulations and as a business owner of a child care facility this is very important. We have been with them for many years and we are moving and had them come in to give us a price for the new residence. We got 2 other estimates and they were over $1,000 more for the same system plus the monthly monitoring fee was more. We went with J&M security on Fischer Blvd, Toms River. I feel we have been overcharged for years with Ocean from $100 for a battery to the monitoring and installation fee. When I questioned why they were so overpriced, I was told they have a higher overhead.

For the last two years, we have had Ocean Security cameras at our home and our business. Both times the installation team showed up promptly on the scheduled date. Recently an accident with a tractor trailer caused one of the cameras to break. I's times like this that you appreciate a company to help fix the situation QUICKLY. Thank you Ocean Security.

I had an appointment with Bill of Ocean Security Systems to give me an alarm estimate on my house. He arrived promptly at 10:00 which, given my experience with service people, left me pleasantly surprised. I explained to him exactly what I was looking for and he proceeded to give me several options to work with. When he left, I knew exactly what my cost would be for the project and the central monitoring.
I found when comparing both the installation pricing and monitoring with several other quotes from the "Big Box" security companies, Ocean Security's rates were fair and reasonable. Part of the appeal of going with a local company is they are close to me and can provide the personalized service and quick response to my questions, which I like. If you are looking to install a security system in your home or upgrade your current system, Ocean Security Systems is definitely worth a call!

We have been using Ocean Security service for our hotel for over 20 years. They respond to service calls quickly. Their prices are all always fair. They do annual inspections of all our fire and burglar alarm systems. Also they monitor all our alarms 24 hours a day. I also use Ocean Security for my home security systems. And since they did the installation, I have never had to make a service call.
The service staff are pleasant, personable and extremely knowledgeable. And its nice to see the same service staff for over 20 years as well. Ocean Security did an amazing job with installing my home security system. They also installed 5 High Definition Security cameras around all sides of my house and pool area. Very very clean job. The best part about it was the price was very reasonable and the central monitoring monthly fee is very low. So with that, I hired the same firm to install my Security for my Commercial building.
They did my normal burglar alarm and installed our fire suppression alarm system. And once again the price was amazing and the central monitoring for our commercial property for burglar and fire is very reasonable and the best around. It seems to me that this firm wants relationships. Everyone was friendly and professional. I feel I can trust them. That is a huge thing for me.

Bill converted my previous ADT security systems at both my home and my office locations. His team is very professional! They are quick and meticulous at their job leaving the worksite clean as it was when they arrived.
