Founded by former security and law enforcement professionals, CrimeTek Security is a fully licensed and insured company that prides itself in providing detailed, high quality security guard and patrol service within the State of California. Established in the late 90s CrimeTek has a customer base of over 400.
CrimeTek's standing post officers are trained to make a positive difference. Aside from having a high visual presence and a distinguished uniform appearance, CrimeTek officers are proactive in their attempt to maintain order. Depending on the specific operation, officers may be called to control entries and exits to restricted areas or inspect areas to prevent fires, accidents and hazards.
CrimeTek management believes that the first step to effective performance is the selection of personnel who meet the specified qualifications required for employment with CrimeTek. Once applicants pass our English language skills assessment, they move on to our pre-employment screening process, which includes an in-depth interview, reference check, criminal records check and drug screening. And we don't stop there. Applicants must also pass the State Security Officer's licensing requirement as well as all in-house security exams.
It is a recognized fact that training is a vital key in ensuring effective job performance. It has therefore always been of top priority at CrimeTek Security, and large portions of corporate resources are spent on providing continuous training for CrimeTek Security employees. At CrimeTek Security, we have our own in-house training program that surpasses the State's requirements. Every applicant is required to attend a pre-assignment training session and pass all necessary examinations prior to employment.

I've been an employee with crimetek for the past 4 years and I honestly couldn't ask for a better work environment. Ed (the owner) is always caring and willing to help his employees grow in any way he can. He is kind and attentive to all of us. If you're looking for an honest good place to work in a family environment, this is your best choice!

Lucky they got one star only because I couldnt put zero. Disrespectful guards, rude office staff, they obviously cover for each other. Called to make a complaint about the interaction with one of there guards calling me names and harrasing me and the staff gave me the run around. They wouldn't give me any information to how i could file a complaint.

Lucky they got 1 star. One of the worst companies in Turlock to work for. No respect for the officers working for them. All they care about is money. The office staff tends to back each other up in situations they're responsible for. They send officers to a certain site without proper notification of what they're gonna expect or the proper gear. Half of the reviews on this page are from the staff working in the office themselves not the officers.
And half of the other reviews on the page are requested by the employer to their officers to put in on this review page. If you value your life and dignity don't work for this company! Their bunch of liars and money greeders that don't value your health and dignity. The company's owner all he cares about is money. Half of their officers try to flirt and make relationships with female officers.
And to come to the point their own officers hate each other and do not get along with one of another! Their pay rate for a regular officer is $12.00 and for a corporal and seargent $12.50. From what I hear about this company while working with them is that theirs regular officers working for them for almost 10 years couldn't get a pay raise for more than $12.00 and same goes for corporal and seargent even with a request on document for a pay raise. Good luck you ain't making no future from these guys.

This company does not value your health. They should be sued to unusual punishment and cruelty. When there was a notice about the poor air quality in Turlock, they failed to supply workers with mask. ALSO they expect you to stand in the rain without getting sick then fire you without any explanation even though most of the illnesses are their fault.
