Fantastic locksmith. They're really helpful and no bullshit. They are fair priced and really fast. I've been using them for years and recently went in again for a car key on my Kia. They replaced it there using the vin number and cut the key in 5 min. They're knowledgeable and helpful. They don't try to over sell. Thanks guys.

These guys are the best. My wife used the key to our '97 Land Rover Defender to pry open a can and broke it in two. First of all, these guys had a key blank to match the Defender key. Not everyone does. Second, they matched it perfectly. It works in the ignition, and all the doors perfectly. I ended up buying another key blank off of Amazon, because it has the chunky plastic part that says Land Rover (boujee, I know), but these guys cut it without any problems. Any problems with keys or locks, Howard Safe & Lock is my go to.

I stopped by Home Depot to get some door keys for my truck (didn't need them to start it, just lock and unlock the doors) and they flat out told me they couldn't help me. I then went to Howard Safe & Lock and within minutes I had two door keys made. Staff is super friendly and helpful! I highly recommend them!

My husband purchased some new locks from Home Depot and had them fitted to our house key in store. We noticed that a couple of them were completely non-functional. Brought the defective locks here and the problem was completely fixed within minutes! Excellent customer service and fast turn around. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a local locksmith!

We've heard all the praises about our local locksmith, and so we hired them to rekey our locks and to install keypads. I called him on a Saturday and he came today, on Sunday. No need, since it wasn't an emergency. However, he was prompt, professional, courteous, and extremely fair with pricing. Mor is just an all around nice man with incredible customer service skills. Eight locks and a couple of keypads done in just a little over an hour. Fantastic job!

I must share my wonderfully helpful experience with Howard Safe & Lock Company. I needed to access a locked interior compartment of a large very old fireproof bank safe my parents had to make sure it was empty before selling their home. I had no idea what the key looked like or where in the house it could be stored. For 2 years of slowly cleaning out the house, I checked every unusual looking key I could find and nothing fit it.
I was told I would need to drill it open, but calling around gave me shocking quotes for someone to do.much less assuming the space was empty. Mor with Howard Safe & Co. was so very patient with me on the phone, and obviously knew a lot about old safes. I shared pictures of it. He even helped me come up with a value to expect when I sell it. Gosh Mor, YOU are a true gentleman and I really appreciated your time and you going out of your way for me.
By the way, he told me what the key might look like.and sure enough, I was able to get into the locked cabinet. I'm grateful I didn't have to spend several hundred dollars paying to have it drilled. If you're looking for a trustworthy group who enjoy their work.call these guys! You don't get service like this anymore. Thank you Mor. Really appreciate you!

Needed a broken key replaced for my Matco toolbox. Call 3 places and sent pictures of broken key to said places only to be told they do not have them. Got in contact with owner and he looked at picture said to come in and see Mike his shop manager. Mike was very knowledgeable and was about to replace my broken key and make 9 keys total in about 7mins. All keys functioned perfectly. I would recommend these people when others cannot. Life savers.

I needed a new key fob. I contacted this company for assistance due to its good reviews. It took three calls to get ahold of someone. When I spoke to someone they were rude and dismissive. I was desperate and proceeded with using their services. I was given a replacement fob even paid extra to show my appreciation. The key fob worked twice then no more.
I received another from the company for an additional cost and that didn't work either! I was unable to get into my vehicle and was forced to miss 4 days of much needed pay at work! Do not recommend.

Last year: After researching Wi-Fi locks and paying $250 at L*we's for a high-rated one, my thought? How do I install this thing? Tried.too complicated for me. Nope. Not doing it. Read reviews for several locksmiths and chose Howard Safe & Lock to come out to do the work for me. Service: took less than 10 minutes Cost: $129.90 I am not complaining because this was a "want" purchase, not a need.
For me, it was worth every penny. The locksmith came out--maybe not on time, but he did show on the day scheduled. He didn't talk much, but that didn't bother me. The lock was installed smoothly and quickly. In two words: I'm pleased

Omg I am so happy! Mor came within two hours of me contacting him. I called around 2 and was told that someone would be here between 4-6. This is a pleasant surprise with him coming right around 4. I actually called someone before Howard Safe and Lock because the price was slightly cheaper, but the guy stopped responding to me after the timeframe he gave me.
I lost my key fob days ago and hadn't been able to go anywhere because I have no spare. Mor came and programmed my new key fob in less than 10 minutes. This guy rocks! He is fast, friendly, and punctual!

The doorknob fell off of our front door. After using two different locksmiths - who could not fix it, but took our money anyway- we called Howard Safe and Lock Co. David fixed it in about thirty minutes. He was very pleasant and knew exactly what he was doing. I will be using this company from now on . So happy to have found them!

I brought in 3 key blanks (special blanks purchased on Ebay for my Izusu Flat Bed Truck). The locksmith made copies right away and only charged me $5. What a deal! I'll come back for all my locks needs and I highly recommend everyone else. The key shop very is well stocked, very organizes and clean.

I found this place via Siri. However right before I found them Siri directed me to at least 10 other businesses which I called a minimal of seven I have. Almost exhausted with frustration I thought I would try one final time to find a locksmith and they were the only business that was willing to listen. The owner was even willing to Come back in at 7 PM last night even though they closed at 6 PM. Reminds me of the good all days of having a friend that you could do business with. I will definitely be using them for all my rekeying and lock needs in the future. Super grateful

I stopped into this Lock & Safe Company to look for a key for my truck. I missed him a couple times by left my number you got ahold of me pretty quickly. I didn't have a lot of money at the time I didn't really have the money to spend on expensive key. I told him I sent you a shin about what was going on in my life and he worked out an excellent deal for me. He's honest just and true and made me a happy customer. It was well worth the wait and the time to find him.

I have been doing business with Howard Safe & Lock for years as an old Heights resident. We have Medco locks which require additional safety measures and unique care. Howard Safe & Lock continues to give me great customer service. Had four new Medco keys made, and the lock serviced with one hour of calling. In the past, I have had them cut off heavy duty locks, service other unique door locks, and answer all my security, lock questions. They are a great asset to the neighborhood. New management is terrific and highly responsive. So glad I can continue to count on their great service throughout the years.

I have to say that locksmith Mor Vidal and the rest of the gang did a great job advising me on what to do with my sticky locks. They were very friendly. But they didn't try to convince me to buy a bunch of fancy new locks even though they appear to have a nice diverse selection of new locks. They were honest enough to offer me a rekeying solution.

He sent me off to retrieve the other five locks that needed help and I ran off to change them out and quickly bring them back. When he was done all of my locks were turning as smooth as molasses, just beautiful! My wife is extremely pleased! Before locksmith Mor used to skill on them they were dirty and in horrible shape.
I would gladly recommend the Howard safe and lock company to anyone and everyone. There's a lot to be said for good old-fashioned customer service. They seem to still value that wonderful tradition here. Great job Howard safe and lock!

Mr. Vidal arrived at our house to extract the key we broke in half inside the lock to our front door. He then quickly made a copy and unlocked the front door. From the moment we called him to finishing the task, it took about 10 minutes. His arrival and service were impressively fast, and it was about 9:30 pm on a weekend. I would highly recommend!

Howard is great. I called on Sunday to set up an appointment to make another key for my car. He picks up within 3 rings and went out of the way to meet me at the shop and got they key done within 10 minutes. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I broke my key in my car door right before Howard Safe closed. Even though the key was broken in a way that was hard to copy, the staff stayed late and was able to make me a key that worked.
