To me, this company seems very disorganized. The Houston office staff, not ALL of them, seem as if they're just there. I feel that some teenagers would be better doing their jobs. I spoke with upper management regarding a situation and this individual gave me the impression that I was bothering him. PISS ON THEM! I feel bad that I WASTED a bunch of time with them that I'll NEVER get back!

The most unprofessional interview I have ever had. I came in for a shift supervisor interview and the interviewer was over an hour late to a 10 am appointment, returning to the office after 11 am having apparently taken a break with other company supervisors who returned with him. I was then shuffled in with walk-in interviews. When I was called in he had no clue who I was, what I was there for, or any other basic information about the appointment he had personally made even after I told him.

Instead he pulls out the info sheet/secondary application all security companies seem to make you fill out for the right to sit in their office and starts asking if I could fill a regular patrol position. I guess I shouldn't expect much from a company that couldn't even get hired by the building next door to cover hurricane security.

A-1 Company wouldn't choose a different company to work for.

The reason why I gave this particular security company one star and tagged it as not professional is because never in the 18 years that I have been working have ever encountered a company that will reduce the pay on your check to minimum-wage ($7.25) from the agreed upon wage of $15.00. The reason why the officer had to leave was because the Officer had to find another job because MED Security did not have enough hours to provide a part-time or full-time employment status for the officer, when the officer was changed from working full time at one location to another. When employers engage in this kind of practice/activity it is a sure sign of a weak company that is not to be taken seriously.

The company was a blessing until I actually started working there, the account manager over the Friedkin account Michael Wad is incapable of doing his job, he doesn't have meetings with his officers and he allows his managers to run wild and make up rules as they go. The managers Marjorie Whitfield and Eric Koenig like to discuss information about other officers in front of officers they are friends with and after that your business is around the office.

They put me in a SOC position without Wades acknowledgement and refused to pay me for it, when I brought it up to wade we had a meeting and he said they weren't supposed to do that and asked if I could continue to do it and that he would handle it. He never did! He then back doored as if he is afraid of Marjorie and was like I volunteered for that and my pay rate was already a good rate!

I was pissed because first of all when I started I was promised 13 dollars an hour but they only paid me 12 and when you are a SOC OPERATOR your pay does increase, so I tried to fight it, when they realized that I was really going to fight this, they hired someone else to do it and paid them instead of me! Then I turned in my 2 weeks notice because a better opportunity approached and Marjorie tells me "well your pay will go down to 7.25" so I asked wade and he told me not to worry, so then I hear that Marjorie is still trying to push me to get 7.25 which is really none of her business, I let wade know and his words were "work your schedule and leave the rest alone.

You complicate things with unnecessary worry". First of all when it comes down to my paycheck that pays my bills I have to be worried, Wade lets his managers scare him and since I did see that time and time he will tell me one thing and then Marjorie will scare him into doing something else, so I ended up leaving 2days before my notice, Med could be a great place to work but in my opinion the ENTIRE MANAGEMENT TEAM OVER THE FRIEDKIN ACCOUNT NEEDS TO BE REMOVED. And wade does not need to have the title Account supervisor he does not have a back bone and does not check on his staff

Everytime I go for an interview they don't have anything available. Stop posting job ads if you don't have anything available. That's unprofessional to post an ad, have someone come to your office just to tell them that.

Hired Wed and took drug screen and then was called in for paperwork and while I was filling out paperwork General Manager called me to his office and said I did not qualify because of no military experience or Tcleose. The Indeed AD read military experience preferred or Tcleose preferred or 1 year commission experience. The Ad in indeed should have the word MUST and also why even waste my time calling me for interview and drug screen if you are not going to hire someone just wasting my time and the companies resources

A friend of mine was an armed guard here. He was told he would make $16 hourly but they only gave him $13/hr. He found out after checking his stubs online. He confronted the Supervisor and they said they would fix it. The following day he was replaced. Watch your money or better yet apply elsewhere

They hire very young inmature kids they are to busy on there phones to pay attention to what is going on around them. Crystal Grant was to busy on her phone to notice the gate closing on my car. Resulting my car getting damaged all along the driver side. I have spoke to 3 different managers and all of them have no professional communication skills. Bottom line is if she was doing her job and paying attention this would not have happened.

Med Security has been a true blessing in my life. From day one management has treated me like family. They never micro manage and are always fair. My coworkers are rock stars too. They have became my friends, family, and support system. I believe everything happens for a reason and I am so thankful that Med Security is a part of my life.

I worked here for 2 years. Most of the corporate office is biased against African Americans although this is a minority business enterprise. I've seen the company be really biased against African Americans on multiple occasions, myself included. I resigned when my supervisor used profanity towards me and he slapped my phone out of my hand because I chose to record his actions instead of retaliating for his use of profanity.

I have video of him slapping and breaking my phone. When I showed management they did absolutely nothing. My supervisor and I are both armed guards. If I chose to retialite someone could have died but Med security didn't care. One day this company will be under investigation for something really bad so I'll just wait and see .

To all applicants: Don't expect a call, email or letter of follow-up to any position you apply for with this company. They simply don't do it. I applied twice. First time was interviewed and after trying many attempts on my part to get an update on the status of the position, I never heard back from them. It wasn't until I saw the ad for the position I applied for was back up that I realize their method of follow-up with qualified applicants.

Second time I applied I received a phone call with a promise to interview. No calls, no nothing. As a veteran, I am disappointed and will not recommend this company to anyone(especially vets). They have very poor hiring practices and rely heavily on the fact that the security field is easy to fill an open position due to the high demand for qualified officers. Good luck.
