Midway Locksmith

Was quoted one thing, and of course it turned out to be another. I ended up paying $360 for a lock change during business hours. WAY too much. Still searching for an honest locksmith.

AWFUL SERVICE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS OR IT WILL COST YOU! I had a lock installed a few days ago. First of all, numerous hidden fees! I was completely blindsided by the cost after I was initially given a 15% "discount." Unfortunately things got worse. less than 3 days later my office was broken into and things were stolen. When I called to see if someone was coming in, I got an attitude and was told there would be all these extra charges (even after I said I would be willing to pay the $39 service charge they never told me about the first time just to fix it.) I was then told that it did not matter and I would have to get a call back tomorrow to "see what they can do." He then proceeded to belittle me. Putting locks on your doors should help you feel secure.

All this company is doing is giving me anxiety and making me feel unsafe and unwanted because that's how badly this service was! When I asked for his name he clearly gave me a fake one. I have now been here trying to fix the lock myself because I have almost lost all trust in locksmiths due to this horrible experience I have never written a review for anything before but this service was so poor I would feel waaaay too bad for it to happen to any one else. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere or you will pay more and experience less. Not only am I disappointed - I am disgusted.

Came to get copies of 8 different keys around 5pm on a Thursday. The man who helped me was very nice and quick! I was in & out in less than 5 minutes. Prices were reasonable for the area. Definitely recommend & will be back! :

This was the 3rd store I came into, trying to get my key made. After being told by monKEYS locksmith that I should get my lock changed because no one would have the key, I finally lucked up with Midway Locksmith. I was told that if the key didn't work correctly, he'd fix it free of charge and if it still failed the lock, I'd get back a full refund.

My key cost 12.50 + tax but that's because I have a Brazilian cut on my key. The guy was easy to talk to and gave me a good vibe. I was shocked that he actually carried my key but he told me that he specializes in keys so if it's one of the most hard to find keys, he'd have it most likely. Came here to get two keys copied. I was actually on my way to a different Locksmith but happened to see this one on my way there. $2.75 each for the keys, after tax it came to $5.99. Not bad, but I know there's a few cheaper places in the area. I was only there for 5 minutes, so they're efficient which is great.

Expensive for simple key copying. came here for a key to be copied and it cost over $6 for a standard key blank. good in a pinch, but likely better places for copying keys.
