LVC is an industry leader in life safety, security, and communications technology. Founded in 1982, we have a proven track record of protecting lives, assets, and revenue. By providing a uniquely different customer experience, we've earned a reputation for "Best-in-Class" services. Over the years, we've established a broad customer base across commercial, industrial, government, and institutional markets.
LVC offers the latest solutions in Pre-Engineered Systems for specialized commercial fire suppression in kitchens, mines, logging, mobile equipment, manufacturing facilities, and more. Similar to any food-service operation, food trucks are vulnerable to potential fire hazards, and because of their size, a fire can rapidly spread.
LVC offers the latest solutions in portable fire extinguishers-including sales, service, inspections and hands-on live fire training. Rechargeable, dry chemical extinguishers ideal for high fire-risk industries such as aviation, chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and mining. Clean agent fire extinguishers leave no residue and are safe to use on sensitive electronics and machinery.
LVC provides complete fire alarm systems including consultation, design, installation, testing and service. These systems can be used for fire detection and notification, as well as a mass notification system. Ideal for any commercial applications. Incipient air sampling technology provides early smoke detection. Used in clean rooms, data centers, healthcare operating rooms, correctional facilities, mines and electrical vaults.

We have two warehouse/office locations, one in Burnsville and one in Eagan. I speak with Jim at least a few times a month about questions surrounding sprinklers, security systems and extinguishers. Jim always gets right back to me with the answers I need in order to form accurate assessments. We will definitely use Jim when work needs to be initiated. He is a trusted member of our team. Would highly recommend him and LVC.

We have moved all of our Fire Protection to LVC as of 2021 and we have loved working with them. They offer anything from alarms, to sprinklers, to anything low voltage. We have used them for security cameras, emergency sprinkler, alarms, Emergency lights, and fire extinguishers. Adam is my rep and he is easy to work with and an all around good guy. I would recommend them.

I have been fortunate to work at LVC for over ten years. We have a culture of respect with our customers and employees. We pride ourselves on customer service while providing solutions and technical advice at the highest level. We also have a culture with multiple employees that have been with LVC for years. We employ highly skilled, dedicated people that have 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 40 years with LVC.
I cannot control previous disgruntled employees from posting things. But what I will say is, we are in our 40th year of faithfully serving our customers and communities. Our reputation proves it!

I use to work in the sprinkler division. I was sent out to repair things that weren't broken and told to go ahead with repairs anyway because the customer signed the work order. They also installed USED components in new fire sprinkler systems that's a direct violation of fire code. The majority of office employees have no experience in sprinklers.
I was constantly getting complaints from customers that LVC wouldn't return their calls. If you're looking for a sprinkler contractor there are many in the Twin Cities with more knowledge and experience.

Paul and his team at Low Voltage Contractors were excellent to work with. We had a VERY tight timeline and Paul did everything that he needed to in order to have us up and running for move-in day. He was patient as we worked through the corporate purchasing process, and was professional and accessible. Additionally, when the general contractor caused a last minute issue that impacted LVC's timeline - Paul was still able to get someone out at a moment's notice to resolve the issue and ensure their work was completed, as expected. I would definitely recommend them.
