Protection First Security

Poor customer service, would not recommend them to anyone. After asking them to cancel out my account the wife hung up on me and refused to answer the phone.

From start to finish Alison and Jake did exactly what they said they were going to do in a friendly, reliable and professional manner. I would recommend Protection First Security in a heart beat.

I called Protection First on behalf of my grandparents who were being overcharged by competitors. Protection First offers very competitive pricing and excellent service. Jake was professional and knowledgeable, and he wasn't satisfied until we were. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Excellent installation and service. I purchased a home with an existing security system which was not working. Jake took the time to test everything and get it back up and running. I decided to add some cameras which work great with an app on my phone. Jake and Allison provide exceptional service. Such a better experience than with ADT and other national companies.

I have been a customer of Protection First Security for over 10 years now. This is an Excellent and very Reliable company. Allison and Jake are super nice, friendly and amazing people. My alarm works very well and I always have a peace of mind when I leave the house. And when you call them, they answer the phone right away so you don't have to worry about not talking to anybody. This company has 5 stars for a reason. The customer service is great! You are dealing with the owners directly (Alison & Jake) I had ADT and the cost is ridiculous. Couldn't justify having a basic system and paying so much. I decided to check out the smaller alarm businesses and sure enough I came across Protection First Security. Alison was great to speak with.

She listened to what I had and made common sense recommendations. The cost to monitor and upgrade my cell unit was very reasonable. She even took care of the certificate for my insurance. Jake came over and took care of my existing system. He made sure that every sensor and feature worked before he left. He takes pride in his work. If you are looking for a new alarm company, I highly recommend them.

BUYER BEWARE! SCAM ALARM COMPANY! This is not a trustworthy company. The owner after doing business for several years asked me to upgrade our system because the batteries were low and upgrade to 5G - it was a contract so I told him we were moving soon and didn't want to sign a contract because I was currently on month to month. He said no problem - you have known me for years and when I'm ready I could cancel with no problem.

Well guess what - when I'm moving and needed to cancel they now want me to pay $100 cancellation fee. We offered to move the alarm to our home but he didn't even bring a ladder to take the alarm system down and said they couldn't do it because they don't have the equipment. Now they gave the system to the new tenant on a new agreement and want to have us pay him $100 to cancel instead of just converting the new tenant into our existing setup.

This way he will take the new tenant as a new deal and get paid for it PLUS hit me for $100 to cancel. This is not a trustworthy business and you should look elsewhere for a reliable alarm company.

Allison and Jake were absolutely amazing! They were extremely helpful. They got our system hooked up within 24 hours of speaking with them on the phone. No matter the question they both were so nice and answered everything for us. The Customer Service is amazing and they are so nice. I would give them a 10 star if it allowed! Thank you so much for everything! I highly, highly, highly, recommend.

I have had Protection First Security for about 15 years now and have been extremely happy with them. Whenever I had any issue( replacing doors and the workers cut the line) they were out right away to fix the issue. When new technology came out the let me know as I like that stuff. They have infrared now for your drive way so when people are breaking into you Car, or walking on your drive an siren will go off. Jake and Allison are great and I would definitely recommend them.
