I definitely don't recommend they refused to hire my sister and I because we didn't quit our current jobs before applying, the responsible thing is to have a job before you quit a job don't know what they want from people, and they refused to listen when we tried to explain that it was a miscommunication so if I had quit my job and they refused to hire us then we're completely jobless Joanie and Chrissy were absolutely rude they should not be the first people anyone sees when someone goes in to apply they twist everything you say

Used to be a security guard there, no one should ever use this company. The "Training" was the instructor having us cheat on the test so we can get our Security Licenses faster. He Went down the list of multiple choice questions & told us the answer for every question before we could even look at it. This company also provides armed guards, I WOULD NOT TRUST THEM.

When I was going through orientation they didn't pay for 1st day of training. They keep pushing their weird special boots & flashlight for you to buy. A lot of my coworkers would brag about & how they threatened a homeless person or got them to leave there home behind. It was disgusting, what is encouraged there, & the amount of bigotry in the company is disgusting.

I cannot stress how little training & underpreparred every guard in that company is. Please never use them. This is a genuinely poorly run & reaaaaally shady company that is not here to protect their clients, & most certainly not here to protect their workers. P.S. I had a coworker who would track all the women on the site I was working on because he viewed them as "Security Risks." & no one else saw a problem with that.

While downtown Oly at the meeting center I interacted with a guard that was competent, and cared about what he was doing. I felt better having him there to at least monitor the lobby while we conducted our business upstairs.

NOT A MILITARY FRIENDLY COMPANY! They fired me when I gave them tour orders. Also, you do not get compensated financially for the work you do. Terrible pay. Terrible front desk staff. It was always a pain dealing with the desk ladies there. Couldn't even get proper fitting uniforms. Uniforms are used and in poor condition. Do yourself a favor and work for a company that will appreciate you and treat you like a part of the team. You will not find that at pierce county security.

Great company to work for. Good communication. They put me at a perfect job site close to where I live. Their training was much more detailed then the previous security company I worked for. 10/10 offer OT, ect.

They are professional alert.on watch with Purpose!. Trust the Guards with confidence!

They cant secure anything other then google reviews that are negative but honest and about how bad they do as a company. Then any review that is good is obviously botched. No detail. Just great place. Excellent. The only detailed positive review really is just a girl who just had an interview and obvipusly just wants a job. bad experience with these folks. I feel like the employees dont get paid enough to care but they obviously have lots of co tracts so all that money is making some POS really happy.

Front desk is not well mannered and is very rude. She immediately insults me in regards to my application because I did not have all the information that she wanted. She should not work in this field with her attitude. She had no right to lecture me about my background. I did not appreciate being spoken to in this manner. I do not appreciate being spoken to in that manner.

I highly respect others. I would never work here because of one's simply minded ego. I'm sorry that I'm not perfect but maybe next time learn how to be proactive not reactive.

They are more interested in sitting and going to sleep in the shelters that are provided or on their phones, BUT DEFINITELY NOT WALKING THE LOT like they should to make sure the employees cars are safe and secure for which they were hired to do. An example: there was a prowler in the employee lot, told them about it and didn't do anything AT ALL to make the guy leave. Our own security had to come over from another area to make the guy leave, while they stood around doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING; OH WAIT they were sitting and talking.

Do not use them for your security needs the personal are very disrespectful, I caught two of they officers sleeping on the job. and the patrol car never show up to patrol my site.

Paid for a training class here, while Tom and Crissie were absolutely amazing, the other lady at the front desk was pretty rude and condescending. I was a couple minutes late due to an accident on the highway, when I walked up to the desk and told her what I was there for, she cut me off and said "you're late is what you are". I apologized and explained to her why, she just scoffed at me and had a pretty bad attitude the rest of our interaction. Crissie then took over and was the exact opposite, wonderful and extremely helpful.

I have worked for this company about three times over a period of 15 years and each time I was impressed with the training and support provided. From the owner and managers, I found accessibility with clear policy and direction (Thank you Glen and Troy). Training to obtain the state license was of a high quality, provided by experienced professionals with law enforcement and/or military experience. Assignments were varied with onsite training provided within my desired geographical area.

This is a security company that not only looks after their clients but employees as well. You will do yourself well by choosing Pierce County/Pacific Coast Security as your employer.

Great company to work for! From the day I was hired to now over 4 years later, I've never thought, "I don't wanna go to work today". Not saying some days aren't more challenging than others - but in general I couldn't ask for a better company to work for

Great staff with lots of movement while working with pierce county. I have a passion for bikes and bicycling and I brought that up during the interview hoping to get on with one of the bike patrols that Pierce County has. Unfortunately i didn't get on immediately but after proving that i was serious about the job and worked hard they decided to put me on a bike patrol and i love it.

With this job you will deal with the criminals of the world and generally some pretty bad people but the company is great at providing backup when needed and supplies you with all the tools that you may need for the job. All in all a great company with great supervisors and staff. I plan to be here for awhile.
