I've been at Pacwest since 2015, and have remained on the same post for the last 6 years. I've been a swing shift guard, a day shift guard and currently a Site-Supervisor. (Pushing 4 years as a site-supervisor.) I love my post, and I've never had a hard time with anybody at Pacwest, from Baker to HR. Any issues I've come across in my journey have been dealt with very well, I've got nothing bad to say about the company.
I've red flagged more guards being a site-supervisor then a normal guard. If you work for the Company, it's about working and not messing around. I take a week vacation every three months with no problem, and I still come back to my post. I've never had any issues in regards to taking time off. All the reviews I see and read are all new to me, because I've been with the company again 6 years going on 7 in December 2022. Again it's not about kissing a?*, it's about knowing what you want out of this company for a future gig somewhere else?

Last day working 12/16 yep right before Christmas. That's not even the issues. Had 2 jobs since then, it was a Blessing in Disguise. My issues are still NO REFUND FOR UNIFORMS. I dropped off mine so quick, no Prob I was So Ready Anyways. Now 2/2 into the new year and Nothing but Excuses and it'll be mailed Friday. That was the 3rd time hearing this, well I see next week. Lol and I'm all ready deep into my new job that actually has Direct Deposit, that should hit next check. And still waiting on these Clowns.

My review continue. This is my belief and from what I witnessed with this company. Clients. I have seen first hand of this company as I once worked for them. As I said they hire anyone and everyone I believe. They don't care who they hire as long as they get a body at your location to make you happy and for you to pay for their service. Remember that saying you get what you pay for.
I have worked and supervised good amazing guards that cares for the job and seen them replaced by well not the brightest bunch as I said in my earierler review they move people around a lot. Anyway they replace them with people that should not be guards. Hence why some accounts were lost to other companies. From what I heard from top men above me that this company lost from what I heard 9 accounts I believe?
Yes it could be that other companies under bid them (that must be a CRA ppy company then) to Clients going out of businesses to well Clients wanted a better company. I mean who would blame them. I belive they under bid other company's let's be honest that's the name of the game but again you pay for what you get. I believe and feel they are pitching for Pennies and will do what ever it takes to make a quick buck off you the client or you the guard.
If they cheat their guards and under pay them what makes you think they won't with you? I have cought guards sleeping as a supervisor I have witnessed poor and misscumication between Clients and the Office, Clients and the guards, Guards and the supervisors and guards and the office and supervisors and the offices and so one basicly the Costa Mesa branch is unorganized from the top down and mostly it's due to the office of this said branch.
It was to the point that the word was out of the L.A Branch is taking over the Costa Mesa Branch with their own people and replacing the people at the office as well. That's was the word spread around no fact to any of it, it's just what's been going around. I would suggest you look for a diffrent company to 1 use 2 guards for you to work. There are other companies that are better well organised (this company is not far from it) up to date with technology (this company still uses paper DAR(reports) and yes other companies that pay their guards well.
Not this 11.00 bucks an hour for post or this 11.00 bucks an hour for training pay for your 90 day probation at every new post or paying their rover site pay witch can be 11,12, 13, just a small few of 14, instead of the 13.50 and hour that is listed plus 50 cents and our for uniform deposit. Also lets not forget how many times this company has been sued yes it's been a lot to the point I was told by someone they just pay out now.
Look everyone go with a diffrent company. The only reason I was here for almost 2 years was I always had a M-F and yes Matt helped me get thoes post only after I was talking about quiting. Look they need people and they need them due to the fact people are always quiting there are better companies then this and I found one that's stable and pay their guards way more and it is a M-F. 4 things that are the positives about this company. 1.
They have M-F shift. 2. Good co workers 3. Field Supervisors Brian and John and the weekend guy the old one are really good that treat and respect their this companies employees as humans and as how they should meaning they are not a holes. They treat the emplyees better they the company and they should be in the office not Matt, Rodger, or Nuckles (PS Nukles is one of the by the book type of guy but can't do anything that's due to the office) 4.
Job security.( This company will not fire anyone they just move you around and still give you full time) that can be a good thing but it's mostly a bad this coming from a supervisor, co worker, and or client. Bottom line just avid this company unless you are just looking for a quick 11.00 an hour. PS. This company gave itself a 5 star review. Now that's just pathetic. Also search Pacwest on YouTube fine the ganster guard clients that's what I'm talking about who they hire.

The Company is terrible I don't never go there because they pay me after 3 weeks for one week and Supervisor is lazy he thinks I'm in best. They give just only 30 hours and they lies about overtime, no launch time you work 8 hours with out launches. They're thinking you are Slave for him. WHATCH OUT don't go over there you waste your time

Worked for these guys for many years. Only because it was a job. I was diligent and professional; yet they reward failure. Guards that normally should have been fired, got transferred to better positions. They only promote people they can control. Furthermore, they are compulsive liars that give a constant runaround. Disorganized with complete lack of communication. Lazy employees, that seem to never get in trouble, whereas the good ones get punished.
They change company policy without notice, and don't pay all the posts the same (different posts get higher pay). Benefits are garbage. They never pay employees on time. Field supervisor (s) are clueless, and make up new rules that make jobs more difficult. Guards are late to relieve you. No vacation time. They barely gave sick days because it became a law.
The uniforms are cheap quality. And they never mail out tax forms, in some cases you have to drive to the office to pick it up. Any ideas or methods seem questionable. If you want a job that will hire you because you can breathe on your own, this is the place. If you want a job with no raises or growth, right here. Apply at your own risk.
