If you are the owner of a housing complex or a member of a home owners association looking for a security company to patrol your residential community, I suggest you find a different company. This company is awful and one of the most apathetic security companies I have came across. There are multiple vehicles in my community that continue to violate the 72 hour parking rule.
There are several vehicles that have been parked in the same spot for well over a month. Furthermore when you contact Nordic Security about this issue they are completely apathetic about their responsibility to enforce the parking rules. And apparently by the look of the Google reviews they don't care about breaching contract with their other communities as well. Nordic Security Services does not care about upholding their contract with the communities that choose to hire them.

Worst security company on the planet. They refuse to do anything about all the resident parking being taken by non-residents, and towed me for parking off to the side when I was recovering from a minor surgery. The very next night there were two non-residents parked in the same spot I was towed who were left alone. They refuse to do anything, and after multiple complaints, nothing has changed about non-resident vehicles. Update: One year later, I have purchased a new car.
It has been three weeks, I've sent my information to them multiple times, and they can't manage to get me a new parking sticker. They also won't place my car on the safe list, so it's at risk of being towed, so I have to park outside of my own neighborhood. In order to get a new sticker for one vehicle, you have to have all residents and vehicles present for an inspection at 10pm. Super transparent that they try and make compliance hard to make money off towing cars. Genuinely terrible company.

Very rude, very unprofessional. The guy who drives around my community claims he's the owner of the business, but is apparently completely clueless about towing laws in CA. Here's a hint, Nordic: "I'm on a power trip because I couldn't make it as a real cop" isn't a legal reason to tow people. EDIT - Repeatedly called the company, as suggested, to talk to a manager.
There is never a manager available. Was told they would call me back. Instead, the security guard has now started harassing me by leaving warning tickets on my car saying I haven't moved it within the 96 hour limit, even tho I drove my car to the grocery store last night.

Nordic Security is the most unprofessional and the worst security services I have ever encountered. They towed our car illegally from our complex when it was actively safe listed. We are new homeowners with a brand new 3rd vehicle and working on getting a parking permit. Nordic has continuously harassed us and leaving unnecessary parking tickets and then towed our car unlawfully.
Every time we have called to speak to a Manager or Supervisor, there is never one available and not once have we received a call back. Im not sure how many terrible, one star reviews a company can have before going out of business. We are now escalating to our Board of Director to find a new security service, Nordic is a complete waste of our HOA funds.

This is the 2nd time my vehicle was wrongfully and illegally towed with this company, so I wanted to write a review in hopes others will read and better protect themselves. I just recovered my vehicle that was wrongfully towed last night because of "missing parking pass". I parked in visitor parking at 9:15 PM. I went inside my family's home to get the parking pass because I've had my car towed in the past and put it on the rear view mirror.
At 9:58, my vehicle was already towed and off the property. I called the dispatch and was told tons of pictures were taken of my vehicle and my parking pass was not present. When I asked to see the pictures since I personally put the pass on the car myself, I was told they could not provide proof to me because they "belonged to the HOA" and I didn't have a right to see them.
To make matters worse, my car is a convertible, and the top was removed, making looking inside the vehicle very easy. My car was towed and left in a tow yard with the convertible off and open to the elements for the whole night. After paying the ransom to recover my stolen vehicle at the tow yard the next morning, I made it a point to walk up with my video camera recording.
As expected, my parking pass was in the rear view mirror. I have a video of the tow yard employee also acknowledging my parking pass was present upon recovering my vehicle. Thinking I did a good thing the second time around by collecting all this evidence, it turns out, none of it matters. Nordic Security would not even acknowledge my pass was in the mirror, only citing pictures they had taken as proof, but regarding my proof as irrelevant and essentially nonexistent.
Their advice was to contact the property manager of the apartment complex I don't live at to deal with one of their employees wrongfully authorizing tows. Nice. This was never about the money, but the principle. At the very least I wanted Nordic to acknowledge their employee messed up and an apology for the all inconvenience caused, but this was simply too much for them. Good to see businesses continuing to support themselves with predatory practices through a pandemic with record setting unemployment numbers.

Nordic security is horrible at servicing their clients. I safe listed my care 6 times while asking Mike the dispatcher that I need a permit. Tina the permit lady is never there, always out in the field. Finally they towed my car while kn the safe list. I asked for Derrick the supposed magnet to get in touch with me 4 times. Tina never answered my email regarding my permit and I never got a call back from Derrick. It is convenient that they record their calls for any legal action. They are a joke! Rude people and horrible service.

Worst Security Company to ever be created. I swear, I bet they hire individuals that do the opposite to satisfy the needs of residents. Dispatch was very disrespectful and kept talking over me while I tried to explain the situation of their own guard citing me in front of my own home, then had the audacity to say "I'm gonna hang up now". After I tried to call him back, he had me on hold for more than 10mins. as if there's only one Dispatch available for each branch office or what?
Never have I ever seen Security patrol my neighborhood and I've been living there for 15+ years since I was a kid. Also had the security drive away from me after I tried to have a conversation with him. I asked for his name and he never gave it. What kind of professionalism is that? What training do these clowns go through lol? This all happened yesterday, so you would think they would undergo some new training with having better communication with residents, but sadly they're scared to make contact.

Moved in to Northwood Irvine gated community, supposedly patrolled by Nordic. The first week we lived here the main gate is broken for 7 days straight, remaining completely open so anyone can freely travel in and out of the community. Our car is promptly stolen during this time and ends up totalled in Riverside. Thank you Nordic for being so efficient with the gate repair.
Wonderful work. After six months living in the community I have never ONCE seen any security come and check out the pool area. Never ONCE seen a security car drive through the community. Terrible.
