Ramona has always been a pleasure to work with whenever I have any needs or service. We have used Downs exclusively for many years now and are so pleased with their commitment to their customers.

Real nice people they made keys for me quick and easy it's a real brick-and-mortar locksmith shop not a mobile-only service you can come in here and have a house key made for a few dollars or you can buy all new locks for your house and they can install them they also have a good selection of states and all kinds of keyrings anything you need for your locksmith these guys and ladies have it.

They came out fast and got our "smart" lock repaired. The tech even showed us where we had door damage and recommended what type of contractor to help us get it fixed.

Scotty was great! Called when he was on his way with an ETA, called when he got here. Explained everything, how and why my old locks were terrible, and how and why the new locks he installed were much better and safer. Would definitely use same company and request Scotty in the future for my own needs as well as my friends and family. Six out of five stars for sure!

AVOID. Going there was a BIG mistake. The EXTREMELY RUDE (& uninformed) COUNTER JOCKEY claimed the ONLY way to get the key code was having the car door disassembled then getting the key code off the door lock cylinder. WRONG! IT CAN BE GOTTEN USING THE CARS VIN #! NO DOORS NEED TO BE TAKEN APART! This LAZY BAD ATTITUDE "employee" acts like she's DOING YOU A FAVOR by DOING HER JOB WAITING ON YOU. Bottom line: I WONT BE GOING BACK to Downs Safe & Lock! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

They have Installed a access control system for our business. It only last year and a half. Had to Installed new parts of course they charged me for service charge and new equipment fee. Guess what? having another problem and now they are telling me they don't work with Access Control anymore so they don't have anyone who can fix my door. I'm the business owner and I can't lock my door. Horrible service and no responsibility at all.

Had a difficult problem with a highly-secured container - Down's provided us with advice and options to resolve our issue, including education on the "right" way to address the problems we were experiencing and avoid them in the future. Extremely professional and helpful! Great staff!

Great service, from dispatch (thanks Jessica) to the skilled locksmith (Scotty) who came to our home and quickly repaired our deadbolt lock. Be very careful who you call - Downs charged me less than a disreputable individual posing as a locksmith who provided a temporary solution and charged much more. Downs Safe & Lock is our provider of choice in this category from now on. I highly recommend them to anyone needing fast, reliable service at reasonable prices.

Get ready for a glowing review.(and, if I do say so myself.a delightful read, too) It's no wonder that Downs has such a solid reputation. I called. A human answered. She was nice. She listened to the astonishing tales of my backdoor dead bolt lock. She commissioned Layson Harwell to the rescue! Said he'd be there at 7:30 on Thursday morning. She lied.

He was there at 7:29. He's an expert. He took GREAT care to examine and diagnose the problem, donned his surgical gloves and began the procedure; dismantling the hardware, drilling, filing, fitting, precise, exact, professional, personable. He really IS a security specialist. Excellent service and all work guaranteed.

They are the best for a reason. Downs Safe & Lock are always reliable, fast, and fantastic follow through. I would recommend them to any one in commercial or residential world. You would be crazy to choose someone else. Thanks Calvin and the team!
