At American Alarm, we have always had the philosophy that if we treat our customers exceptionally well and make sure that they are happy with your service, we will receive referrals.Happy customers tell their relatives and friends, so getting new accounts will never be a problem.
American Alarm will activate your existing alarm for FREE. Professional alarm monitoring will then cost only $18.95 per month. American Alarm can use your existing equipment and simply reprogram it to our central station so we can monitor it. If you do not have a landline, American Alarm will install a cellular or wireless communicator to route the alarm signal to the central station through a cell provider.
This includes one control panel, one touchpad, three door contacts, one motion detector, and one siren. After your free install, all you have to think about is monitoring. American Alarm offers two different payment options: $29.95 per month or $80 down and only $19.95 per month. Working with this company has been a joy. Heather goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure any issues or problems are taken care of quickly. After being with a big alarm company for twenty years, we switch to American Alarm. Its good to know that when I call, I hear a familiar voice on the phone and I don't get passed around to several representatives to get my problem resolved.

We had American Alarm as the alarm for our small business for nearly 3 years. While the initial setup was easy, affordable, and the technician was friendly and nice, throughout our contract we have had several false alarms, as well as a period where the alarm failed to go off - despite a door to the facility not being closed properly. For each false alarm, I would ask dispatch to remotely turn off the siren, as we work with animals and the siren can be disturbing to them.
I was always told this was not possible, causing me to run up to our facility, sometimes at all hours of the night. After the most recent incident, we switched alarm companies to one that allows us remote access to our system through an app on my phone. We requested that Am Alarm release us from the remainder of our contract (only 3 months) for failure to meet our needs.
They have refused to do so, and are now asserting - for the first time - that they too can remote access the system. The customer service throughout this cancellation process has been rude and unaccommodating, especially considering I had been a long term customer and had tolerated the poor/inaccurate communication for a few years now (assuming their assertion it true and remote access is, in fact, possible). I am very happy to have made the decision to switch companies.

American Alarm is a pleasure to deal with. They were efficient in getting me set up as a new client. They honored their appt times, the tech was very friendly, and everything was done right the first time. Their office staff is smart, thorough and very responsive.
