Liberty Safe was founded in 1988 by Jay Crosby, an engineer and entrepreneur who had previously co-founded the Fort Knox safe company. When we began, we built our safes by hand and worried more about making high-quality gun safes than having a large output. Customers appreciated our focus on quality, and before long Liberty was able to expand.
Liberty Home Safes are imported with contemporary styling and popular sizing to fit any home or office environment. Each comes with a quick access electronic lock that includes a backlit keypad for easier night time viewing. In addition to trusted security features, our household safes are also built with 60 minutes of fire protection.
Be prepared for any hazardous situation that may arise in your home with Liberty Safe handgun vaults. Ultra convenience with quick access, our HD and HDX gun vault models are equipped with the latest vault security technology the industry has to offer. These vaults are proudly built in the U.S.A., so you can rest assured they are tested and built to the highest quality standards.
With Liberty's new economic vault door, it's easier than ever to protect a large collection of valuables or create a safe room. This robust piece of security offers over 600 pounds of protection and allows you to store an entire room's worth of valuables, supplies, and firearms. It's the protection you've come to expect from Liberty, at a price you'll love.

I bought an hd300 in 2016 and it worked great until it didn't. I went to open it 2 days ago and the latch mechanism cycled, but didn't unlatch the door. Called Liberty customer service and was told, and I quote, "since it was out of its 2 year warranty I'm out of luck. It is a wearable part, just like parts on a car, pieces wear out". I get the wearable part, but what surprised me was there was zero offer to help at all.
I had to drill the latch through the door to get it open. I drilled through the door hoping I could easily get the door replaced and the latch mechanism fixed instead of running the whole safe. Honestly I am just happy it didn't fail to open when I really needed it to open. I would highly recommend a different company just based on customer service alone.

Horrible place to work! Everyone is treated like yesterday's garbage, safety isnt followed and safes fall over everyday putting Everyone at risk daily! Not to mention when its understaffed they make you work harder than you ever do and still make you come in on fridays (which is forced overtime) and the second you have to use the bathroom they give you a glare and say hurry up.
I mean I'm sorry im a human and not a robot. Not to mention the safes are being built by people who don't care about the quality so as a customer I wouldn't recommend buying a liberty safe they are all made cheaper than they use to be

This review is associated with a pre-pandemic purchase (Nov 19 - late Feb/early March 20). Although Liberty makes a great safe, I will look elsewhere for any future safe/security needs - the main reasons include: 1. The safe took 4-5 months to manufacture and deliver to my local dealer. This was a major let down. 2. Their rebate checks bounce. I received my check promptly, but it bounced and I lost money from my banks fee.
I have tried calling and emailing to see if Liberty will make this right but I have received no response in 6 months. 3. Any phone call to their corporate headquarters is a 1 hour wait at minimum to get through. Hire a call center if you can't be bothered to answer the phone.

Their scratch and dent sales are amazing! I picked up a safe that did not have any visible damage and was a factory 2nd which just means it couldn't sale on the main floor and came back to them, nothing wrong with it whatsoever, for half the price it originally cost! Can't go wrong with quality items made in the USA either!

Extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service. Upon receiving our safe, we removed the door to lighten the load as much as possible to be able to move the safe inside. There were no warnings on the door and it was easy enough to remove. After placing the safe in our house, the door was impossible to re-Install. We were told that the door shouldn't have been removed, that our warranty was now void, and that they couldn't do anything else for us.
We would have to cut the hinge pins and re-weld to reattach the door. Can not believe the lack of customer service considering there was no warning AT ALL to not try and lighten the load of the safe to move it.

Poor customer service. We got a safe that doesn't work. It's been 9 months now and they haven't been able to repair it or replace it. The customer service reps are not even responding via email or returning our calls. This is not okay! Stop with the excuses please. Either fix it or refund our money!

Liberty safe 1 of the few ALL AMERICAN companies in the US. Parking lot is wide enough for making a U turn & slots are properly spaced so you can back in easily, the place is not open late so @ 1600 hrs they close the gate, if live load try 2b there B4 12:00, you can leave your trailer there & bobtail to buy something to eat & comeback without any issues but B aware of the closing times or you'll be lock out.

A friend of mine works at Liberty Safe and told me to reach out to Focus Workforces for a job. I was very impressed by their manager. He was friendly, very welcoming and made me feel at home. I've worked in a few different departments over the last few months and love the job. It's a great place to work. If you're looking for work, focus is where you should go.
