We had an amazing experience with this company! Our home had an old alarm system that hasn't worked for years but it began beeping at 4am. We didn't know what to do so we called Security First even though we are not a customer they were SO KIND and talked us through how to dismantle the system. NO MORE BEEPING! And I offered but they REFUSED payment! I would recommend this company to anyone. THANK YOU FIRST!

We had our alarms randomly go off every 15 minutes in our house, overnight and it was the longest and most annoying thing to happen. After a lot of trouble shooting and trying to self resolve, I stumbled across this company and although it was after normal business hours, they answered and immediately was able to help make it stop. Security First did a great job of setting up a complete system for our home with doorbell camera, ultra-slick Lyric Honeywell panel with LCD display and lots of features, fire / CO2 detectors, etc. They were on-site to install within a day of us finalizing the contract, and they prioritized our install knowing that we were on a tight schedule. Rick was great at explaining all of the options for monitoring and equipment upfront, Sam did an awesome job on setting up all the equipment, and Tami stopped by during the install to make sure we were in good shape. We have only had the system in place for a few weeks, but so far everything has worked out great!

My husband and I have had a wonderful experience with Security First Alarm. We have used their services for over a year now, and have had no issues. The install was quick and easy. Their rates are reasonable compared to others I shopped around with. With a small company, getting ahold of their offices can be challenging at times, but if you leave a message, they will always call back. Our alarm has gone off a couple of times, and they are always quick to call and dispatch when needed. We enjoy supporting family owned local businesses!

After having a vacant home of mine burglarized to the tune of $14,000 in stolen appliances and other equipment, I called Security first, and Tammy set me up with a great system, for a reasonable price, and I'm still kicking myself for not calling her earlier. She doesn't oversell, in fact she had me hit the brakes on a few extravagant security features I was interested in. Nothing is hidden with Security first. Up front about options, needs, costs, and zero pressure. This was exactly what I needed. Their great reviews are well deserved.

What a great experience. From my initial phone contact to installation I couldn't be happier. I now have an awesome home security system that does a million more things than my old system (including home automation.) I paid VERY little upfront only because Ii also wanted smoke detectors installed, but otherwise everything else cost me a 3-year monitoring contract at the same rate I was paying my old provider. Tami and her crew were just awesome and I would recommend them to anyone in the Portland area looking for either a security and/or home automation system.

Best deal in town. The installation was quick and the installer was very professional and courteous. He knew where things should go, the keypad they gave us was a touch pad that looked real state of the art. We are moving and our current alarm company wanted to charge us $1000 to move. After calling several companies I landed on security first as my last call.

The lady on the phone was super nice and after answering all my questions I was booked for the installation. Great company, easy to deal with, I will be switching my business to them shortly.

I spoke with Tami over the phone when I originally called in for a quote. She was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the options with products and services. I was pleasantly surprised when she came out to our house with the installer to determine the best placement for our new system and sensors. It was very clear that we were dealing with a local company who genuinely cares about their products, service and customers. Tami took the time to teach me how to use our new system.

I feel at ease now that i have a top notch system, but i feel even more at ease, knowing that I have a local company that will stand behind their products and service. I don't usually write reviews but when I feel a company goes the extra mile I will gladly share my experience recommend to others.
