I would NOT RECOMMEND anyone sign up for their service, nor will I ever use them again. There are much better providers out there. As others have mentioned in these reviews, BE AWARE they lock you in to a 3 year agreement every time you sign documentation. We had been a customer since 2015. They told us in 2020 we needed to upgrade our service since they were no longer going to support the older system.

Upon completion of the upgrade, we signed the documentation. Well that created a new 3 year contract agreement. Now 2022, we are moving to an area they do not provide service coverage, so we cannot transfer it. After speaking to their representative, she said there was nothing they could do, we owe them 75% of the remaining contract agreement. You would think once a customer has completed the original 3 year term, since they required the upgrade, or moving outside their coverage area, that they would make some exception.

I would give this company zero stars if I could! Beware of them. They will have you sign a 3 year contract so be prepared to stick with them for 3 years. We sold our house after 18 months and moved across the country and they are sticking us for the other 18 months even though they won't be providing pest control services to the home anymore. When you call to talk to them to try to negotiate they say that they have never negotiated expect for in court.

So this has obviously happened before and they aren't willing to work with you on a resolution except for making you jump through hoops if taking them to court. Stay away from them! Go with someone else!

OnDuty has given us great service ever since we moved to the area a year ago now. We needed the batttery changed and were told that the receiver I believe needed to be changed. They changed it for free and at the same appointemnet I requested! No hassles as there usually are with company appointments. Mr. Huerta was also incredibly friendly and patient. Showed me how the new application worked, set up the zones, and showed me how to call fire or police dept from the keypad. Keep up that great customer service!

Just wanted to say that OnDuty is a great company to work with. I needed help with my notifications from the OnDuty app. The technician, Lalo H., was awesome, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained what he did and kept me in the loop. All is good, and feel so secured.

Great service by sales specialist, Sam and excellent work by field personnel Khiem who made it happen. They had difficulty in accessing existing security box and they rerouted all cables and setup the home security fairly quickly.

I been having my alarm with On Duty for over 7 years and Mr. Khiem Nguyen installed everything when I bought my house and everything works great. I just opened a restaurant and asked for Mr. Khiem Nguyen to come again to install my alarm service with On Duty. Mr. Khiem Nguyen was very professional and knowledgeable of his works. I would very recommended to everyone to have Mr. Khiem Nguyen to install your works.

Khiem Nguyen came out on 7/10/20 to figure out why our alarm system sent out a false alarm. He checked the alarm and also gave us the ability to have the chime feature. I really appreciated his due diligence in getting the keypads working properly with the chime feature.

Used OnDuty Systems for Surround Sound Installations and TV mounting. Their technician, Khiem Nguyen was on time, very professional and did great work. Highly recommended them and will use them again when needed.

I was starting to get an ant or two in the house and saw some big roaches outside and wasp nests. Mr Selenas came out and sprayed everywhere and knocked down the wasp nests. They even sprayed the ant beds. When I saw wasps outside a few days later, he came out immediately and took care of everything. Very professional and quick to respond to questions or problems. I'd definitely recommend them.

OnDuty has been servicing my house now for the second time. We cancelled service a few years back just because we thought we didn't need monitoring. We bit the bullet and had a new touchpad put in and signed an agreement. The service has been very good and customer service even better. Miss Mona that works in the office is so nice and helpful.

Everyone I've talked to is very helpful and knowledgeable. The service tech, Javier was very courteous and knowledgeable too. So far this has been a great choice to go with OnDuty.

Have been a customer for 7 years and recently had all of my equipment updated as it was the original equipment from the previous owner. Was well taken care of from the sales team, customer service and the installer who came into my home. I feel secure knowing I am fully covered when I am home or away from home.

I have tried on separate occasions over the past 3.5 years to get someone to my house to uninstall the security alarm and fire alarm system. Instead, I've gotten useless "help" over the phone, if that. What I've gotten in return is random times the alarm systems go off and annoy the heck out of me and my neighbors. I'm hoping this review will finally get someone's attention and remove this system out of my house or at least get someone to assist so that it actually works.

I made an appointment on a Monday set up for the following Thursdays to repair my alarm system. The sensors on both doors not working. They called and cancelled appointment the day and time they were to do repairs. They told me they don't repair systems they don't service. Their website something different. This was copied from the web page.

It is not uncommon to receive calls from people who are not wanting monitoring but are just looking for an alarm company to repair their alarm panel or replace door or window contacts, broken alarm keypads, battery replacement, motion detector, glass break.whatever is not working. We can do that for you. If they don't stand behind their word can use trust them to do anything. Good luck.

We recently received our first pest control treatment after switching services. We changed services because OnDuty is less expensive than our previous service. The sales rep, Barbara, made a point to follow up on the service visit to make sure we are satisfied. The rep that provided the service was very thorough. He even offered to provide an interior treatment during his visit. We are very satisfied.

I had been a customer for several years but when I moved I called and cancelled service. However, they continued to do work and bill me. I called three more times to cancel and their accounting ladies were very rude and refused to stop service until I filled out a paper form. Now they are demanding I pay for services performed AFTER I called and cancelled. Very rude every time I call won't listen to why I don't agree with their bills.

Ive had them out to my house several times trying to get my system working correctly taking time off from work and they showed up without all the equipment the first time so I had to take another day off work. The second time they still were not prepared. Today I realized my alarm is not connected to the windows and they wanted to charge me to have it fixed outside of regular bussiness hours l, its a good thing burglars only work during regular bussiness hours. Piss poor service and piss poor technicians, the whole company is just a bunch of clock punchers who want to do as little as possible as soon as they have your money.

I have tried to followup multiple times by calling OnDuty and they have yet to return any messages left on voicemail or with an after-hours representative. OnDuty refuses to help me even schedule an appointment for quarterly service yet sends me a bill full well knowing they failed to provide continued service. The business is not trustworthy.

I am very UPSET that On Duty runs such a crappy business. We were building our house with Coventry Builders and went to the Design Center where we were put in contact with OnDuty for our wiring, pest control, and security needs. We were super excited and the sales agent we worked with was amazing. We signed a contract with them to be our pest and security providers.

It took our house 10 months to build. We totally forgot about them being our provider. They never contacted us to keep us informed about the process and what is next. We closed on our home and they took 4 days to contact us about being our vendor. Security is my husband's priority and they never contacted us in the timely manner. They finally called and we already had security in place than they proceed to tell us we had a $1,300 cancellation fee and that if it is NOT paid, they will send it into collections!

This is ridiculous that this company did not contact us in a timely manner nor did they keep in contact with us to keep us informed about their services. This is a LOW DOWN company and I wouldn't do business with them in any way! I wish I could score them a 0 because I would!

Avoid these guys like the plague. I moved from a rental property in August 2016. Tried to cancel by phone but then got the run around from a rude phone support person saying I must fill out a form and send (this is 2016 by the way). Upon filling out / sending the form I never heard back from them. Until May of 2017 where I get a phone call complaining that onDuty can't process my payment.

So apparently they have been processing payments for the last 3 quarters - nice. Again a rude phone support person tells me i have to fill out some sort of form and forwards me onto someone else. I of course get the voice mail. We will see if they return my call.

After being a customer for 7 years, we needed a service call f to address a problem in the fire alarm system. Told it would be TWO weeks before an appointment was available. OK, didn't like it but accepted that could be a reasonable wait. Got a call today 15 minutes before scheduled appt time to be told that the GENERAL Manager took the appointment and gave it to another customer! Let's see if he will call me back as I requested, I doubt it! It had better be a hospital, nursing home, or school that NEEDED my appointment. Looking for a much better and more RESPECTFUL COMPANY!

Onduty Systems is a great company. They just completed the installation of a system in my home, complete with cameras and full blown security. The installer was very friendly and showed my how to control the system from anywhere in the world on my cell phone. I can also see my cameras on the phone. Very helpful and friendly. Was contacted the following day by a lady who wanted to follow up and make sure everything was to my expectations. QUALITY!

My HOA has a deal with On Duty and over the years I have been satisfied with their basic phone line service. However, after 3 attempts to get my system upgraded, I am giving up and finding someone else to install an upgraded system. I called a few months ago to schedule an upgrade as well as surveillance cameras. Their customer service representative told me their earliest appointment was a week and half away between 9-11 am.

It was a long wait, but I went ahead and scheduled. Attempt #1: The reps showed up about 9:15 and said that because I had not re-confirmed my appointment, they cancelled my camera installation and the first available for re-scheduling as 2 weeks away. Because of the inconvenience and the weird way they cancelled my appointment without letting me know in advance, I sent them away hoping I could find a cheaper company to come and do a complete package sooner.

Attempt #2: Unable to find a better deal, I called again a few days later and re-scheduled. Again, I asked for camera installation and security system upgrade. They said A-OK and told me the first available was a week and a half out again. Annoyed, I went ahead and booked. The next day, something told me to call back and MAKE SURE they had scheduled my camera install this time.

After 15 minutes on hold being transferred from department to department, I find out that they HAVE NOT booked my camera appointment and I would have to make a separate appointment and take more time off work to get it done. I told them to cancel the cameras and just send the team to do the system upgrade. In the meantime, I called Lightspeed Security and they installed a better system with more cameras for the same price the VERY NEXT DAY.

Attempt #3: I had to schedule a doctor's appointment on the day of the security system upgrade. My appointment with On Duty was 9-11. I called them to let them know I had to leave home by 10 and if necessary I would re-schedule. They assured me that their team would be there by 9:15 and be done before 10, so I kept the appt, True to bad service form, they showed up at 10:05 and I had to send them away so I could make my appointment on time. At this point I've decided it's just wasn't meant to be. I've used another company for the system upgrade.
