We're always looking for talented individuals who are interested in a career with CES Security. We guide each new hire through pre-assignment training in a supportive classroom environment. Then we develop skills through on-site training exercises. If you have the skills and drive to become part of our team, please complete the following application.
Based upon our years of experience in providing services in our region's convention facilities, we are able to provide detailed recommendations that are tailored specifically to your event. We routinely provide security personnel, as well as other event personnel, to fulfill various needs during an event.
CES has specialized in servicing a wide spectrum of events since 1975. Over the last several decades, our strongest emphasis has been placed on expanding our role in the exposition industry. In that process, our geographic focal points have been in the Washington and Baltimore markets, where we have been active since our inception.
The single most important element of providing the quality service every account deserves is staffing with personnel who will be able to perform to high standards on a daily basis. The first step in keeping pace with the increasing demands for better quality security services is to intensify the employee selection process.

Critical: Professionalism The companies H.R department is also the office manger. No matter how long or how well you have worked for the company "she" will not give you a job reference at all. Its as if you never worked there even if you made supervisor. If you want to experience slavery apply here.

I worked for this company in 2000, this company has not changed. I took my nephew by the office on McHenry street to apply. I was rudley approached by an older female in the back office who had an issue with myself being in at the same time with my nephew so I left. I came back and took him out because she didn't even have a mask on the whole time.

DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME! $50 deduction for two shirts and one pair of pants, only part time work that's not even guaranteed, lousy pay, standing in one spot for hours on end, don't give you your lunch breaks, gives your scheduled work to whoever shows up first, less than 30 hours given over a months course. By far the worse security company I've ever encountered. Please spare yourselves the trouble!

The only good thing to say about this company is that if you want to get your start in security then this is company for that. But other than that it's not a place of longevity and career advancement. They pay you minimum wage.especially for event security officers. You have stand for long periods of time without hardly any breaks. Plus they have this "first come first serve" policy which means you have to show up extra early in order to work.
They overbook workers on purpose just in case there are call outs. If you're on the schedule to work that day but when you show up and they've already booked all the workers they need, they will send you home. So I say just use this job to get your clearance card and the experience under your belt. Once you do, leave!
