My Mother and Father live in Hideaway. It is a beautiful place. However, be very cautious about joining this HOA. Hideaway Lake Community Church (Yes, a Church) is allowed to threaten my elderly parents. My Father is almost 89 and is a disabled veteran. My Mother is a retired school teacher. Hideaway Lake Club can stop this abuse by revoking the dam spillway lease to the Church. Please research this HOA. It has so much potential. I ask for prayers for my family.

I wish I could give negative stars. My significant other and I were just pulling out of the gas station when the lawn mower at this golf course threw a golf ball at our truck, which was on the public road leading to the I-20 on ramp. We now have a big dent in the passenger side door two inches from the window, and where I was sitting. My significant other then went inside and asked to speak to the manager.
When the manager came out and he told him what happened with a very bad attitude, and smug smile the manager said that that happens all the time, and it's a road hazard our insurance should cover! This horrible remark angered him to which he said that the golf ball could have hit me inside the truck had we been a couple seconds faster, and that they should put up silt fences so this doesn't happen to anyone else.
The manager with the same smug smile said he couldn't do anything. I would hate to see someone seriously harmed or killed because a golf ball hit their person! We avidly golf all over the country while we travel, and will be sure to tell everyone we come across what happened; as well as the horribly poor customer service.
