I don't understand the previous rating at all. My experience was the opposite. Suffolk Security Systems is one of the best businesses on the North Fork from what I see and hear. In fact, the owner, Paul Romanelli was just awarded the Suffolk Time's Businessperson of the Year award. You should search for that article. My experience seems to be similar to everyone else I've talked to (and everybody uses them out here), is that these guys know their stuff, they're honest, they have all the latest tech, and they're just really good, trustworthy people you'd want looking out for your home. Paul donates to just about every cause out here and puts in a lot of time for good causes. He's even on the board of the local hospital. On his website there's a video of him explaining North Fork alarm systems and the unusual challenges out here. You can't go wrong with them.

I recently switched to Suffolk Security after getting lackluster service from our previous provider. I had a narrow window of time to get the upgrade of the entire system done before a tenant was moving it. Everyone was easy to deal with. The installation team was professional, organized, neat and cleaned up everything when done. Highly recommend them.

Vasil and his team from Suffolk Security on the North Fork put in a new system called Alulu Systems. It is very people friendly. It has a lot of opportunity to work with app on your phone. You can control it from your house or if you are away. So far I feel it is great. The program also has a necklace for someone who might need help when the caretaker is away from the house.

Service was initially good for several years until they would not answer emails for 6 months or more After multiple calls and suspending payments they came back, fixed issues All was good until I asked them to install electronic lock. They botched installation and could not get it to work so they had to reinstall my existing manual which they did the wrong way and left with my $300 " Schlag" lock This was one year ago!
Since they again stopped responding to my email request to fix the problem I stopped payment and alarm is back in manual mode Avoid at all cost a business who does not answer multiple service emails over long period of times
