I love them cause they gave me a great job. If you can get your guard card they can get you a job too. They're great people to work for. They're always hiring and all you need is your unarmed security officer card. Say i sent you! We're still hiring!

Do yourself a favor and don't work at Blackstone security. First off they do not offer direct deposit or vacation pay. Virtually no benefits at all. They cannot fill posts and their guards are always late or don't show up at all. They disrespect security guards, supervisors and all that work with the company. If there's an issue with pay they do not answer their phone or call back.

When you finally get a hold of someone they just argue with you. I've worked at my post for over 10 years and have had three different security companies and this is the worst one. Avoid at all costs. Too many other security companies with better pay and benefits.

The office staff is very rude, if you call for uniforms they will ask you why you need it. (um, to work! Duh! ) Also the owners son is running operations at the Phoenix location. This guy has zero knowledge of how security works or knowledge of Dept. of Public Safety policies. I was at a high rise building and a guard came over for training. This guy was out of uniform and told me that the office was aware of him being out of uniform.

I told him that if DPS sees you working here out of uniform you will have your guard card removed and the company will be fined. The young man didn't care of course. Get this, Blackstone Security don't have direct deposit! Instead, they hand out checks depending on the mood of the field supervisor. You might receive your check 3 days later past payday.

My checks bounced 3 times with this company so that was my time to leave. I loved the site I was at but the security company is a mess. They don't care about their client or their own employees. The only thing they care about is covering a post.

I initially applied not thinking they would have anything that fit my schedule but figured "what's the harm"? The recruiter kept in contact with me and immediately notified me when he had something available that fit my schedule perfectly. Since working here I've been treated with respect, courtesy and professionalism more than anywhere else I've worked. There's a general attitude of "no bs" and I enjoy working here.

Blackstone security is a good place to work they give you a fair shake. They will go out of their way to help somebody when they need help. They're supervisors are usually pretty good.
