Brian ADT Tech took the call, and provided us a rough estimate with Alarmed ADT system ($1300-$1600)and wired ADT system ($3200-$5000). Chose for wireless ADT system, couple of things, the app is friendly however it takes time to load. I am still waiting for them to come back and install the doorbell camera which I haven't received a date yet. The cameras look amazing and it's two way talk system.

I will update my review once they install my doorbell. So an update, the tech came back to install doorbell and this time it was Sandiego who did it. He was so knowledgeable and so helpful that he even fixed our router and relocated our panel which seems like hard for the first tech named Rafael who came in the beginning. Sandiego was very nice and finished the work very fast. Brian was helpful and addressing our issues and thanks for providing us with a key fob.

It took us nearly 6 months to find our security specialist Brian. A lot of companies were trying to up sell us and/or sell us equipment we didn't need or want. Brian stopped by to give us a quote and asked if there were any security issues and where I wanted the cameras. He looked around the house and emailed me a great quote a couple hours later.

The technicians professionally installed everything. The cables were all hidden and the cameras blend in naturally. The system is completely user friendly. Do yourself a favor and save some time. Just call Brian

We purchased a new home several months ago. Calling Homestar Security has been the best decision I have made so far hands down in making our home ours. From the moment I spoke with Brian I knew I was in good hands. He met with me the same day and went over the ADT system and options. He was patient, attentive, courteous, and answered all my questions and concerns; additionally, he made some great suggestions and/or offered alternative options.

He never tried to upsell me or force products or services. He wanted what was best for us, and made sure that was what we would receive. After we had agreed on the options and services to be provided, Brian assured me he would have Santiago for my installer and that he would treat my home as if it were his own come installation time. True to his word, Santiago came out the following week to install the system and treated our home like it was his very own.

Like Brian, Santiago is also an amazing and genuinely nice person! Santiago is a masterful tech and knows his profession well. He is the consummate professional. Santiago would always take the time to explain the system or go over the ADT app with me. He provided me with his contact information and encouraged me to call or text if there was ever an issue.

With Homestar, I felt like I truly mattered to the company, Brian and Santiago. Santiago took the time to run the wires properly, hide them where he could, or to minimize their footprint so they were barely noticeable. I have an extremely tight attic and there were parts were Santiago had to suit up and literally crawl through very narrow areas. Most people would have been too claustrophobic or just went the lazy route and run cables on the outside of the edifice.

Not Santiago. He takes pride in his work and ran our setup the same way he would have wanted it for his house. This clearly sets Homestar apart from other vendors. I've heard horror stories from others who used different ADT installers.save yourself the headache, anguish, and uncertainty by just giving Brian and Homestar a call. You'll thank me and sleep fine knowing it was done right and you chose the right company for the job!

With any new system, there were issues. Nothing major and all were to be expected with a brand-new setup. Santiago had to come back a few times and always got to the bottom of the problem. Every time I saw him, he was just as pleasant as before; it was a pleasure and welcome feeling to see him again. I knew my system would be done right and would work perfect once he was done.

I had multiple projects going on at one point with the house and Santiago was even kind enough to help some other installers I had trying to install in-ceiling speakers for a home theater system. That installer was having a hard time figuring out how to get to various rooms of the house due to the small and claustrophobic attic. Santiago being the gentlemen and kind soul he is, offered advice and helped them out as a professional courtesy.

Like I said, he is a stand-up guy! Homestar and Brian Piccolo are also stand up and top notch. What are you waiting for? Give them a call already! Nothing but praises for my experience with HomeStar Security. Originally I tried working directly with ADT and it was an absolutely nightmare of an experience. Thankfully, did a little more research and came across HomeStar Security, and it was day and night difference. Talking to Mike was great - totally understood my needs, didn't press for any features or services that I didn't want, and got me scheduled for an install appointment (upgrading existing equipment) in a short timeframe. Brent - the technician who came to the house to perform the install - was on time, friendly, efficient, and helpful. Was quoted 2 hours for the install, and finished exactly within 2 hours. Brent also gave a great walkthrough on how to use the system, and was happy to answer questions that my wife and I had. If you're considering ADT, work with these guys! Thanks so much!

I had a great experience with Brian, I needed to go out of country and needed the alarm system urgently. Brian was able to get the security system installed for me next day, normally it takes a few days to get the installation. I had called few other alarm companies and they were charging for the equipment, Brian gave me free equipment and a low monthly rate.

He was very professional, I also like the technician Brian sent, I forgot his name now. He was fantastic, he made the installation look so clean and flush, he placed the alarm panel near my kitchen area with no exposed wire. Now I can view my home on the camera from outside the country and answer the door bell on my phone. Great experience with Brian and his team

Glad to work with these people. Got a good deal from Mike. And I want to thank Bob for installation. He come to our house three times to make sure everything works. He also provide professional advices to help us decide where to put sensors. I haven't use the system for long time and find that there might be some bug with it. But these guys are very helpful and will solve the problem ASAP.

Aswsome customer service. We called for a qoute and Mike came in less than 30 minutes. He gave us a quote in less than 5 minutes. If you need ADT call these guys rather than calling ADT direct. We were also given an installation date for next day! The new installation is fast and everything is wireless. No need to put wires in the walls. We saved $600 in installation compared to other local companies. We are 100% satisfied and again if you need your home or business secured give them a call now.

We moved into a new house a year ago. Moving from the little bubble of Kirkland to Edmonds has been great, but I don't feel as safe here living so close to some more populated, busy roads (hwy 99). Since we've had our system installed we feel much safer. Gives us piece of mind especially with small children. Also the phone app is great.

I researched five security companies to upgrade my home security system. I choose HomeStar because of the equipment, and price. It was a swap-out of the old equipment (panel, pads, siren, and monitoring) with the new. I had several conversations with Michael over equipment and price. Ultimately, I choose HomeStar. Brent did the installation and I am pleased with the results. I've read the reviews by HomeStar customers.

Not all are five star. Most are! I can only say that each time I pass-by the pads, or siren, or panel, I feel good about the new system; I feel secure! I can keep my review short and sweet and let my pictures do the talking. I posted pictures of the work performed by Homestar on their Yelp profile. Regardless of price or a great offering, ask yourself this, do you trust your home to an under qualified so called professional? My home was left damaged with holes in molding and walls, broken outlet plates and exposed wiring.

I encourage anyone that is looking to utilize their services to look at their reviews on Angie's List as well as Yelp and take the constructive reviews seriously. I spent over $900 correction the damage left behind.

They are great and Broc Taylor and Brian are the best. Keeping everyone safe and homes and businesses secure! They were nice enough to come door to door to be able to show me that they are concerned with security and our safety they made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend them anytime and stand behind that 100 percent.

Got a new ADT panel free! I just moved in to a new house and they knocked my door the second day I moved in, explained everything very clearly and patiently. The system got installed the second day after they came, and everything worked precisely and accurately. The package comes with a motion sensor, but I already have one from my old system, so they give me an extra key fob with no charge instead of the sensor.

It was very nice. They also put an ADT secured sign outside my house to increase the security level more. They called me after installation, making sure everything is okay. I have some troubles using ADT pulse (the iOS app for controlling the system), and they stayed on the line helping me trouble shooting and fixed the issue. Also, got quick enough replies when I ask them questions via text msg. Very nice product and even nicer service. 5*.

Was a mistake letting these guys come in.cause they wouldn't leave. Very pushy and aggressive.

I invited these people in to my home and listened to their sales pitch for 30+ minutes. We told them we were not satisfied with the level of video surveillance they offered, but if they left their card we would call them back if we decide to hire their services. Now they call us every single day, from two different numbers. I never answer the phone when a number is not in my contact list. They don't even leave messages. I had to Google the numbers to figure out who kept calling me.

Our experience was exactly like Dennis B.'s review. We went by the BBB rating before setting up our appointment and after our in home appointment I am so disgusted by the company that I am planning to avoid all ADT providers in our search for a security system. The in home appointment is as stated by Dennis provided by a representative from the "Promotions Department" who was authorized to give special deals if you give them five referrals and never shared the details of your great deal.

Our rep went to great lengths to convince us she was not a sales person while subjecting us to a classic in home sales pitch. I tried to stop the whole scripted sales pitch and just cut to the chase but was unsuccessful. You have to hear how much more expensive this same system is if you call ADT directly and how much better they are than the competitors.

It was a typical slimy sales pitch flow chart experience. I felt sorry for the woman who delivered it because there simply has to be a more dignified way to earn a living. We purchased a car this past weekend and the process was much less horrible than our attempt to purchase a home security system. Now we are looking into the new Xfinity system and Protection 1 instead.

While I appreciate that Michael left me a voice mail after the Yelp review appeared, in a sales situation you only get one chance to make a first impression. That first impression was so negative that I could not consider putting my family's safety in their hands and preferred to have a system installed by a company that sent someone who was knowledgable about security systems and focused on assessing what we needed from a security perspective.
