We needed a locksmith to rekey our newly purchased house and we are so happy we used modern lock and security. They rekeyed our 4 locks in less than an hour. Price was reasonable, especially considering the quickness and quality of their work. We would recommend them and will use them again if needed.

Great service! A real locksmith! They have been here twice and fixed the problems (a lock that needed adjusting and replacing the guts in another) The latter, other "locksmiths" wouldn't even come out and look at. I won't use anyone but Darrin and Andrew in the future! Their prices are reasonable and they know what they are doing.

I called about 10 different businesses for a quote and went with them as they responded quickly, had next day availability, and had the best price. Darrin and Andrew were friendly, knowledgeable, showed up right on schedule and the job was done within 30 minutes. I'd definitely work with them again for future locksmith services.

The Codelock lock on my office lab door was "jammed" suddenly on Wednesday. Not sure what the issue was and the keys didn't work. I contacted Modern Lock & Security and Darrin provided a quote within minutes based on my description. Darrin and Andrew were able to come the next day at noon. They were punctual, professional and courteous. Within moments, they were able to open the door and figure out the problem. Also, coincidentally, our property manager recommended Modern Lock & Security.

I just moved to the neighborhood and needed to get the locks re-keyed. Darren was available that day, set all my locks to the same key, wiped everything down, and finished in a short time.

We have worked with Modern Lock twice now. The first time, we had deadbolt locks installed in two different patio doors. These were different sizes and had unique trim so the template from home depot would not have worked for me. Six months later, alignment has been great! Earlier this week, we had Darrin out again to repair our front door deadbolt which was not retracting properly, causing the door to become stuck. Darrin had great attention to detail, taking it apart and adjusting it a few times until it felt just right.

It is lined up and much smoother now. On both occasions, Darrin was on time and explained his approach as he went. We will definitely use Modern Lock again for any future locksmith needs.

Very front with their business. Needed a key made for my 1999 Lexus RX300. Dealer wanted $75.00 for the key and $200.00 to program the key. Absurd pricing. I could program the key with instructions off the Internet in 10 minutes. The dealer is therefore charging $1,200.00 an hour. Modern Lock and Security said reprogramming the key was unnecessary. They would just put the old transponder into the new key. Slam dunk. Key cost $75.00 which is in line with other locksmiths. Thank you Modern Lock and Security.
