Today is the first time I call this business after I purchased this house 7 years ago from the previous owner who had borges installed the whole house security system. I call and speak with Liz for beeping sound which comes from the security panel. Liz patiently helps me via both emails for sending pictures and phone calls for explaining at the same time.

By following her instructions, I get rid off the beeping sound within half an hour. It is because the unit battery needed a replacement after 6 or 7 years. Very good customer service!

Bosch Systems Refino Borges the owner along with Mary Borges. Fino Borges they are all cold piece of work my experience working for them. They were kick a. family I wouldn't of wanted my training done done anywhere else.

Borges Security Systems Inc is an amazing rep. Him and his crew were always willing to go beyond my expectation to make sure things were in place. They were punctual, professional, and very easy to deal with. I highly recommended these guys for your home security needs.

Never used this company but had an incident in the freeway today i involved CHP because these people were driving wreckless and recording me after doing that and laughing and flipping me off. 2 young males idk what kind of ppl they hire but i put report ot for them have them recorded also. A bunch of young kids they hire and they do seem to be racist too. But these kids alwyas do things in a group

They installed our system over 20 years ago and it continues to work perfectly.

Borges just completed installing my new security system. What a difference it is to work with a Family -Owned business vs. a large company. After scheduling an appt, with the office, Fino came over (on -time )and asked me for my"laundry list " of what were my security needs. He really listened and came up with a system that would be effective and meet my "low-tech" skills requirements for a system that would be easy for me to understand Seth and Jonathan installed the system: They were such nice guys, and easy to be around.conscientious, professional, chose aesthetic placement of alarms and monitors, everyday before "quitting time", they left the house all cleaned up and would arrive the next morning when they said they would.

On the last day, when the system was set to go, Seth explained and demonstrated the system to me in a way that made sense. He was a patient, good teacher and made sure I was comfortable using the system before he and Jonathan signed off from the project. Many thanks to Team Borges for making it possible for me to leave the house without worry, and enjoy nights of deep, sweet sleep

I have high expectations and Fino and Chris have meet all my expectations. Fino and Chris are highly detailed and always want to do job the right way. I find this extremely important. I believe Borges Security works mostly with residential clients however, we are a commercial client. If you think they are only residential, they are not. They can do commercial work better than almost every vendor out there. This is the second office we have used them for and I couldn't be happier. You have to earn 5 stars from me and they sure earned it.

I called Borges to setup my existing alarm system. Fino arrived on-time and quickly enabled the system, and offered a detailed tutorial. He was every efficient and knowledgeable. I called their office for support and received professional and friendly service. I highly recommend Borges for your home security needs.

Borges installed our alarm system and central vacuum system 24 years ago. We have had a few repairs done throughout that time and have always had a great experience!

Had the system for 6 months so far and looks like there's a faulty sensor. It seems to trip every time we are out of town. To make matters worse, the "app" from Bosch is $7/month (!) + the text message to notify that sensor has gone off is $8/month (!) -- why wait for other robbers, this is day-light robbery for you! So if you are looking for something that can save you money by not having to pay monthly monitoring, you are already out $15/month to basically remotely turn the system ON, get notified if it went off, and then turn the System OFF. Came highly recommended but I guess well suited for 1990s.

Borges security has come highly recommended by both a close friend and high end realtor. A few months, after investing in new doors and windows, I scheduled a security installation. They came on time, were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and did clean work! Post installation, Fino Borges and his team are easy to get a hold of (and are eager to help) when questions and emergencies come up.

I could not be more pleased with the installation and ongoing service! Borges Security is a family owned business and they take great pride in what they do and it clearly shows!

Horrible experience with this company. Alarm kept going off while on vacation, and they refused to even come out to investigate. Customer service is extremely rude, and kept blaming hypothetical issues, even though they never came out to even take a look. Of course, Menlo Park police charges $150 for each false alarm, so Borges' laziness ended up costing a great deal of money. Terrible customer service! Save your money!

I'm surprise this company has such great reviews, but not so great in customer services or even customer relate issues. Over the Christmas weekend, my parents and I, went to Tahoe with a few other family members for a weekend get away. Upon returning that Monday, the security system and keyless remote batteries both had died over the weekend, but the system was still armed. So, we open the door and of course the system went off.

Since both systems batteries were dead. The system wasn't accepting our clearance code. We call the services center which transfer us to this location which is the man headquarters. Of course, there were closed due to Christmas. ALL THREE REPRESENTATIVES DID NOT KNOW THEY WERENT OPEN! We kept getting transfer to the office line until Tiffany, service representative, found out there was no way to reaching anyone else since the main office was closed.

The only thing they could do is silent the alarm so the authorities wouldn't come. Finally, after at least THREE HOURS. we were able to find a store that was open and thankfully carried the same battery size as the keyless remote had, and we were able to turn off the system. This morning, I received from Rachelle (whatever her name was) from the main office, and I was telling her the issue and what happened.

She was rudely said, "That's not true, we have a technician that was on call 24/7 and there was a blue care given upon installment which gives instruction." In my view if there was a technician that was there, why wasn't there anyone to pick up or why wasn't that a option in beginning when the representative unable to resolve the issue.

I then asked her what the blue card was for, then she had no clue and just simply respond that it was a card given upon installment. Overall, we have been customer since 2006, and from this experience, I will no longer be with this company. Rachelle or whatever your name, I owe you a punch in the FUCKEN throat. I hope this place goes out of business. Small business is great but have no sense of any customer service or any customer related issues.

Borges installed a security system from scratch into my house last year, and I'm very happy with the results. Yes, they are busy, but it's not because they're lazy! Have you seen the problems with burglaries in the bay area lately? There's no wonder their installation lead times are so long. This small business has a lot of demand and I am glad they are not willing to sacrifice quality to chase after more customers.

Father and son both gave me an installation and consultation. I had a lot of questions. They answered them all. They didn't brush me off in favor of some bigger client. They proposed a system tailored to my house, my needs, and my budget. They have a hard working staff who each gives personalized service. The installers and technicians have all been very professional and took care to make everything appear very hidden or at least out of the way.

They personally gave me a run through of how the system worked in my house and how to control every part. I feel safer using a system installed by a family that know the bay area like the back of their hands. Knock on wood, I haven't needed their services in an emergency yet. I hope that their attention to detail so far will ensure that when I do need them, they'll take care of my needs.

I spoke to Mary I asked her if she had an appt for a quote for tomorrow she didn't say she was booked and then when I told her what I needed she said oh we are booked tomorrow nothing open nothing for the rest of December ok if you don't want my business just let me know i will gladly get another vendor very rude.!

This is a great company. Very knowledgeable and professional. They show up on time, the guys are pleasant, do a thorough job and very professional. They wired our large home and put motion sensors in. Our system was old and dated and they did a great upgrade for us and wired for cameras while they were at it. It's a family run business with great customer service skills, unlike these large companies where you are just a number.

Their monitoring service is very good too and again, very professional and responsive. They are on top of it. I would highly recommend Borgess and am super happy with the job they did and the service they continue to provide us. It doesn't get better than Borgess!

Based on some of the reviews I read on Yelp, I called Borges Security Systems to schedule an appointment for a home security consultation. Although my call was returned promptly the same day, but unfortunately, I was basically told by Mary that she is very busy and over booked and would not have time to come out in any time near future! It is nice to know that a business is busy, but if you can not take care of customers because you are short staffed or overwhelmed, then there is something wrong with this picture.

I called several companies that didn't answer my questions and just wanted to come out and charge me thousands of dollars. Fino answered my questions over the phone, and just wanted to help me get to a solution. This is obviously an honest, family owned business with nice people who know what they're doing. I called several alarm companies and this is definitely the company to go with if you want knowledge and honesty.

Upgraded an old Radionics alarm system with the latest Bosch alarm system. Fino was professional and detailed in all his work. Mary at the company has always been friendly and helpful. Liz in billing does her job well. I had called Vivint and they sent a teenager out. I called ADT they didn't even bother coming out because they didn't know how to alarm the gate. Borges is a family run business that cares about it's end products. I recommend them without reservation and am planning to have them install HD cameras next year.

I called them about something minor and they were so helpful - Chris swung by the house on his way home to help me out - I tell you these guys are the best - but that's because they are a small family run business - pays to deal with a small company vs big and impersonable

My burglar alarm went off today because someone tried to get into the house. Our Borges system went off before the door was even opened. By the time the police came the perp was gone. There were signs of attempted forcible entry so we knew someone tried to get in. I really hope that no one ever has to use their alarm but knowing that it worked exactly as intended without the would be criminal setting foot in our house gives me a lot of peace of mind.

The police commented that without the alarm they probably would have gotten in. Thanks to the team for setting up an alarm system that just works. We had a couple of issues when the alarm was initially setup but they were very attentive and quickly came out and fixed the issues. They also took the extra steps to check all the other alarm points and cleaned them all up. Couldn't be happier with the service.

I can't say enough about the quality of service Borges Security did installing our home security system. We had 4 doors and over 30 (double hung) windows that needed to be secured so it was a pretty big job. Chris, who did the installation was extremely professional, polite and provided a 5 star service for my family. I would highly recommend Borges if you are looking to upgrade or install a new security system.

Borges is the best. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. When we purchased our house in 2003 it had an existing alarm system, however, I wanted to go with ADP since I had an ADP system in my previous house & I was happy with it (or so I thought). I called ADP out to install their best system which ended up costing ~ $8,000. Unfortunately, it never worked properly, and nobody at ADP knew how to service it.

They would come out to fix one problem and they would create 2 new problems. It was ridiculous, and after 5-6 years we decided to switch to a new alarm company. My friend, who is a police officer, highly recommended Borges Security Systems. I called Borges & had them come and give me a quote. I decided to go with their top of the line Bosch system & I love it.

I have never had a single problem, and best of all, everything works. All of the doors & windows in my house are pre-wired, however, Borges installed water sensors, TV alarms, additional motion detectors, glass breakage detectors, outdoor motion detectors, plus much more. It is awesome, and in the 2-3 years since it was installed, I have had exactly ZERO problems!

I should also note that the quality of the products that they use is top of the line. Not only that, but I am extremely picky, and I wanted a clean installation (e.g. wires run neatly, labeled, etc.). Fino was even pickier than me and when he was done I was very happy. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
