Great company great prices beats ADT. If you currently have ADT equipment in your home Mike and Dwayne can give you a super deal on the equipment that you already have to reduce costs providing it's still capable. Between Mike and Dwayne installing did an outstanding job I would recommend them for any Security needs that you have. And they also give a nice military discount.

I initially only had security cameras installed which have been great! About 7 months later I needed to upgrade to an actual security system. Jeff answered all my questions and worked hard to make sure the install was on a day that was convenient for me. His installer was top notch and professional. He got me started with the system, helped me to download the phone app, and explained everything to me. Very pleased overall!

I can't express enough how I was satisfied on the entire process from contacting the Bulwark throughout the install. Before contacting Bulwark I had ADT come over and provided me with reactivating price of relatively new system (couple of years) with best monitoring panel and monthly costs. Then I schedule them to come and install the system. from that moment, ADT saw me as money machine: need to replace your panel (wanted to replace with buttons version panel while I have touch screen with viewing capability), then, the cameras you have, suddenly, we cant use them, it is company policy, we need to install new.so from $179 initial cost we got to over $1000 costs.

I told them to leave. I then said to myself, let me check local companies, one that actually care about the customers. I did my research and Bulwark looks like the best in the area. I was not wrong! I sent inquiry and few minutes after Jeff contacted me. He sent me Dwayne the same day to see the system and to provide me with quote. The communication with Jeff is exceptional.

It shows that he care and he treat you as valued customer. We then set a day for installation. The day of the installation Dwayne come on time and was the best you could ask from technician. He made sure everything working and work hard reactivating existing cameras that had old firmware. He didn't give up and took the shortcut (replacing the cameras on the homeowner costs), he spent the time and update them and make them useful again.

No surprises and no hidden / extra costs. You guys rock. I will recommend to anyone who looking for security system, residential or commercials. Learn from my mistake and don't contact the big companies that really don't care about you and the workers (food chain) live on commission and how much they can get from you from the moment they in your house. Go with Bulwark and you will not regret.

This is very late. I did want to write to express how well we treated by everyone at Bulwark Home Security. Trisha answered right away when I called to get an appointment for an estimate. Jeff did a great job of walking our house and evaluating where we wanted cameras. And the hardest job of all, Dwayne the installation technician. Our install was in June and he had to get into the crawl space of our home.

And of course it had gotten hot by that time. Dwayne did a great job of routing cables. We had some minor issues accessing our system for other devices. And Nicole was able to help us get a quick answer. Nice to work with a local business with great customer service.

Had Bulwark security install a system 6 years or so ago - nice clean install and I remember the installer being super friendly and informative. System works great - the option to Arm/Disarm using a phone app is super helpful. I just needed support for Bulwark to remotely reset the system because it was out of synch with the app - very friendly and helpful so I thought I'd write a review.

In fact, the few times I have had to call over the years, Bulwark has always been professional, friendly and helpful. I would use Bulwark again. The install is in a Scottsdale address, so the do cover more than just Mesa where their office is located!

Fantastic honest experience! I sent messages with numerous requests in regards to my security cameras not working anymore and the owner replied fairly fast but this wasn't my only reason for leaving a 5 star review. It was the honest answer I got. Jeff replied with a cheaper alternative and recommendations that could solve my problem and a link to amazon where I can purchase the part for $12, I proceeded to buy it and it worked!

I got to tell you, this was honesty at its best and someone who offers their expertise and experience to help a stranger for nothing is a rarity These days! I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Jeff, I wish you all the success in the coming years.

I've been a client of Bulwark Home Security for a little over a year now since the purchase of our house (February 2017). Bulwark came highly recommended from a family member that has been their client for years. We had the owner, Jeff, out for the initial walk through to determine the best products for our house, and then a few days later Dwayne came for the install.

Most recently we have had our old windows replaced with new ones (we had plans to do this when we bought the house for better energy efficiency and had actually mentioned that to Jeff during his walk through last year. He said it would be easy enough and we'd just have to have a tech back out to install the new sensors). So last week Dwayne was back out and we've got all new sensors, but I wasn't expecting the price to be so hefty.

Our original system installation last year was about $140 with a 3 year contract, but since I was adding additional sensors while still under contract I didn't receive the discounted sensor & installation price I originally received - so it was almost double the price for me to add more sensors to an existing service, than it was for me to create a whole new service as a new client. I've paid it and moved on (because what good is a security system that only covers half the windows in your house?) but I have to say I was a quite disappointed by their poor business tactics & service to EXISTING customers!

I still a couple of years left on the contract.not sure at this point if I will be renewing or moving on to find another of the tons of security companies that serve the Phoenix area 12/13/2019: I'm still a customer with Bulwark Security, and wanted to update this review and add another star for what was likely one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had! Mykel is a shining star in the administrative offices for this company; she listened, offered solutions, helped me with technical support while attempted to clear a fault error for one of my sensors, and kept me fully updated every step of the way!

I have spoken/worked with other office staff regarding low battery issues, fault errors, etc but none compare to this one call I had with Mykel today. She went above and beyond for the customer - and that passion is so very welcome! Mykel is awesome!

As a security monitoring company they do a decent job but as a camera installation company they use inferior product and have a very weak support system I've had nothing but problems with my camera system that was installed in my house and every time I call in with a concern they want to charge me $85 to come out and look at my system that is so user unfriendly As of now I paid for a system that I cannot even use I seem to get nothing from Geff but an arrogant attitude

I used Bulwark to install security cameras for my home, I do not use their monitoring system (Although when my contract with ADT is up, I may). I installed cameras in two batches, first 4 and a few months later additional cameras. Both times my inquiries were handled quickly and professionally. After a brief walk through of the project, we agreed on a price and the work was done soon after.

Their installer was fast, clean and professional. The products work great and any questions have been addressed very quickly. I would recommend Bulwark for camera installation.

Bulwark Security was our only option when we rented a property from Mike R. (Previous review). Bulwark Security did their job in catching our creepy landlord while we were away on vacation. He was caught entering our property without permission and after hours. Bulwark provided us with the security report when the landlord entered our property with the wrong code, as well as 3 police reports from being dispatched. I normally would use a security company but glad I had Bulwark. Jeff was great to work with in this instance.

I have worked with Jeff over the last few years and must say, his pricing and service are second to none (which is why our business uses him EVERY time we need a new alarm installed!) - He has even gone out of his way to outfit locations in areas that he normally doesnt service (Globe, Tucson). I highly recommend Jeff and Bulwark, great prices, great customer service, and an extremely simple sales/service process!

About 25 years ago I had an Aritech Moose Systems wired alarm system installed in my home. I served me well for many years. Fast forward about 15 years. I decided it was time to upgrade it. I researched alarm systems extensively and decided upon the Honeywell Vista series of panels. I then researched local installers who worked with these panels and found Bulwark Security.

I reached out to Bulwark and spoke with Jeff about my needs. My system was evaluated, pricing was provided, and a deal was struck. One of Jeff's installers came out and replaced my alarm panels and controller as agreed. I also made arrangements to begin using the monitored alarm service marketed by Bulwark. All went well with this setup for until. one of my legacy wired alarm sensors failed.

I reached out to Bulwark to determine the cost to troubleshoot/repair and was surprised to hear the cost. It seemed rather high given that it was single wired glass break sensor. Replacements are available online for just a few dollars each. I then inquired about possibly replacing the wired sensor with a wireless sensor and the cost was even higher (not surprising or unreasonable).

At that point I decided to simply bypass that sensor. I did this for a while but finally decided that I'd simply replace the sensor myself. I went to my alarm panel to try to access the programming and found that it required an installer code (which not been provided). I contacted Bulwark to ask for the installers code and was told that their policy was to not provide this information to current customers.

Well that sucks! I waited for several months after my alarm monitoring contract expired and inquired again for the installers code. Again I was told that they did not provide this information to current customers. Uhhhh. my monitoring contract has lapsed, I'm not exactly a current customer. I reached out to a number of other organizations and eventually found a company online that provided me instructions on how to reboot the panel and get the installers code.

I followed their instructions and was able to retrieve my installers code. Using this I'm starting the processing of documenting how my alarm panel is configured. While I completely understand the policies put in place by Bulwark Security, I have trouble with their policy given that I paid for the Vista alarm system in full. I own the system in question yet I'm unable to configure my own system because the alarm service company I worked with won't give me access. Seems rather illogical to me! Don't get me wrong, Bulwark is a good company.

I like their people. I like the products that they sell and install. I just feel like I was being strong armed into using them for all of my service and support. Would I use them again? Probably but under the condition that I retain access to the current/valid installer code for my system.

My name is Todd Meyer, and I used Bulwark security for my home. Jeff the owner came out to give me a quote. He was the only company, that was on time. Jeff was extremely professional, and knowledgeable. Also unlike the other companies he gave me a quote the same day. I had Bulwark install an 8 camera outdoor system. Jeff's crew was also polite, fast, and professional. A month or so later one camera had an issue. I called Jeff, and two days later it was replaced. Great company!

I have had alarm service with Bulwark for about 2 years now. I have loved having them as there has never been a glitch, no hidden fees when we started, and no follow up sales pitches. I had the power go off at my house unexpectedly while away and received a call right away from their monitoring team to let me know which I greatly appreciated and was able to check on right away. Jeff was fantastic to work with and the equipment continues to hum along. I look forward to a long alarm service with them.

After looking for a reputable company to install our camera system, I decided to go with Bulwark, partly due to the good reviews I saw here on Yelp. I am so happy I did. Bulwark is an organized company and very easy to work with. Jeff, the owner, is very professional and responsive. He is also great with followup once your system is installed. He really strives to make his customers happy and it shows.

I am so happy with our system and would refer him to anyone looking for a security or camera system. In my initial search, I found another company and decided to use them. It was nothing but problematic and ultimately, I never did get anything installed as they kept putting me off once they got a large deposit from me. After deciding that they were just blowing me off I started looking for another company and settled on Bulwark.

I thank all my fellow Yelpers as it is because of you that I found Bulwark. I am even now considering abandoning my current large chain alarm company to move to Bulwark for my security system as well. Personal customer service and great equipment is what you get. For the last 2+ years we've had a second home in Queen Creek and been using Bulwark since we moved in. Dealing with them is a pleasure, during the install all appointments were kept and the quality of the work was excellent. A few months ago I decided to get rid of the expensive landline, since all the calls we got were from telemarketers, and call them to ask for our options, they explained about cellular communications technology for the alarm, the next day everything was done and working perfectly.

In my business I've dealt with many alarm companies, I wish half of them were as knowledgeable and professional as they are. On top of it, their rates are among the best for alarm monitoring. I recommend them highly
