Awful customer service [two different women] whom absolutely does not care about their customers and I've been with them for 17 years.faithful.made every payment on time and never complained. They sent someone out to my home said that I needed an upgrade that had to be done. I paid the guy and signed his work order. I decided just a few days later to cancel my relationship with protech and go to another company due to the fact that protech was unable to fulfill what was needed for my family.

I called to cancel my service and the lady was so rude on the phone and said that will be a 1000.00 dollars.you are under a three year contract. I told her that was totally unbeknownst to myself or my husband and after 17 years why would I sign a three year contract.it's all so fishy. I pleaded with her only to fall on deaf ears. Boy.how is that for taking care of your customers.

They should really be ashamed. Please if anyone knows whom to send this to please do so Things in this world are bad enough then to have a local business treat you with such disrespect.it boggles the mind Robin Rupp

Protech has always been my trusted company for my security safety. I just had it installed in my new home. Ryan made the transition from my old house seamless. I recommended working with him direct. Garrett came today and installed the system. He was very professional and answered all my questions. Went through the system and and helped me set up the app. 10/10 service

I'm moving into a new home and wanted to make protecting my a family a high priority. I didn't know where to begin so I shopped around for what I might do. Thankfully I got in contact with Ryan Parkinson at Pro Tech Security. I went over my security needs with him and he guided me through my options clearly with professional advice. Everyone I've spoken to since has been knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the system we've installed. I could not be more satisfied with my decision to go with Pro Tech Security.

Although the service techs have generally been very good, I don't care for the company's business practices. I requested a quote for a system upgrade. The account executive wanted to push me into signing a contract quickly. I'm happy I did my research. Protech wanted $1400 to replace the control unit and add a video doorbell.and wanted a check for 50% up front.

The rest was to be paid in full after the work was done. All of the old wired sensors, panels and smoke detectors would be reused. I purchased a new ADT wireless system, including sensors, panel, three new smoke/fire/CO detectors, a (free) video doorbell and a driveway camera for about the same price, and was able to finance it all at 0% for 3 years. Don't fall for Protech's pressure tactics.do your homework. Oh. I had almost 3 months left on my Protech monitoring deal. Do you think they gave me a pro-rated refund for unused services? Of course not. Avoid Protech at all COSTS.

The entire ProTech Team was super customer service oriented and really worked to get the job - not just done, but DONE RIGHT. Greg made certain that we were up and running with ease --- everyone was kind, courteous, professional and knowledeable. This is the kind of customer care that is to be expected by all those in the "service" industry. ***Will continue to rely on ProTech to protect our family.

The overall experience from the initial assessment by Ryan to the installation of my home system by Garrett and Greg was really outstanding. Ryan did a thorough assessment of my home's existing hard-wired system which had not been used by the previous occupant, and resulting security requirements. Ryan left some options on the table for future consideration, which I appreciated, and there was no hard up-selling.

It was clear that the job's requirements were clearly communicated to all concerned, and there was no confusion once Garrett and Greg arrived on site. They immediately set to work after a brief walk-through of the house. They arrived on time, were very polite and personable, and took care to make sure that everything was working. They did an exceptional job explaining how the system worked and had me do the "hands-on" work so that I would feel confident with the system.

They explained the various common scenarios and how to manage them on the system, including a siren that can't be silenced via the keypad. They left the user's manual and a couple of extra signs. The guys even noted a small leak in a drain pipe in the basement as they were installing a new panel! That's something that could evolve into a major issue if left unchecked, and I sure had not noticed it in the five months I have lived here.

I also elected the option to download the app, which enables the user to arm and disarm the system from one's smart phone. I think it allows more flexibility than the standard 60 second delay after arming to get out of the house. Overall, it was a pleasure working with this team of professionals.

Good service, but the tech came into our house with no face mask and never put one on, and proceeded to talk the entire time. Not good during a pandemic.

Very respectful and personable company. They take their time to explain your questions. Everyone I spoke with were very kind. I am glad I chose Protech Security. A good friend recommended them to me and glad I did also.

I just want to say thank you to the Protech Team for there level of professionalism and how much they cared about our needs. Especially from the first phone call I made to there Account Executive Mr. Ryan Parkinson. I left a message on a Saturday and he called my wife and I back within minutes. He came and visited me at my office on Monday morning and helped me figure out what was the best way to go and best bang for the buck.

For us we were on a time crunch because of a family vacation and we wanted to be protected ASAP. Well Ryan made it happen. And the installer Tod was great and explained everything in great detail. I highly recommend this company. Thank you for all you helped us with.

Move on from this company and call Secur-I-com. Protech is not customer focused. I bought a new home with and existing security system. I called Protech to come out and perform a test on the existing system and they refused unless I signed up for a multi year service agreement ahead of time. I called Secur-i-com and they had a tech there the next day. No mandate for a monitoring contract. Just good customer service.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff with professional service and installations. Would recommend to anyone needing home or business security.
