I usually don't write reviews, but this is necessary. On September 6, 2020 around 5:30 to 6:00 pm a friend (retired Army veteran) and I (Army veteran) walked onto GMC parking lot after hours by a few minutes to view a truck worth $80,000 that I WAS interested in purchasing, when a security guard by the name of Terrance Causey (could be a fake name) quickly drove upon us and jumped out of his S10 truck with a AR assault riffle with his hand on the pistol grip and finger on the trigger.
We were on the lot possibly 30 sec when he approached us demanding that we leave the lot. I asked in utter shock why did he approach us with a weapon strapped across his chest as if to shoot us and his reply was because we could've been armed. Although, if we were armed it is in my constitutional right to do so legally, but we weren't. I also asked when did this protocol ( removal of people by weapon) begin because people view vehicles after hours daily and he watched us get out of our vehicle and approach the lot, whereas his reply was that we leave the lot. Also, we just watched a guy and his child leave the Mercedes lot next door (jumped short fence) with no issues.
This peaceful viewing quickly turned into a horror show, because someone wanted to play with tactical weapons in a car dealership parking lot. I will also notify GMC, concerning the customer that they lost due their "security."
