Marcus was a great instructor for Hand Cuffing and Pepper Spray. I would highly recommend taking his class.

I took the handcuff/pepper spray and taser classes with Mr. Marcus Bronfeld and the Baton Training class with Mr. Phil Chachere. Out of five stars the classes were a 10! The instructor's method of explaining how to use the handcuffs, pepper spray, taser, and baton were very efficient and gave me the confidence to do my job as a security guard with everyone's safety in mind. I recommend anyone who wants additional security guard certifications to come to The Loss Prevention Group, you will not regret it!

Let me start off by saying this place is straight to the point and no nonsense when it comes to getting you ready to become a security guard. They take you through all of your steps and make sure that it's done correctly. All the instructors I've had are good people. PHIL CHACHERE really know his stuff with the baton. He's gonna work you until you get it right!

Sure he'll bust ya chops a bit, but in the end, you'll be happy. MARCUS BRONFELD was my firearm instructor. Straight to the point guy that makes it easy for you. I haven't shot in some years and yet I feel as if I walked away better. Side note, watch out for hot shell casings. Lol. JASON QUAN helped with his knowledge of Terrorism and WOMD.

He gave that extra common sense that you sometimes forget about in certain situations. We all need that to make sure we make it home after the end of a day or night. So for me, I enjoyed The Loss Prevention Group, Inc classes that I've taken. Check them out and see for yourself.

I got my certified and my guard card licensed here is very good school proffessional, I would love to become a security guard and try the job as a security, staff is very helpful.

Quick and easy live scan services done here. My son's school requires all volunteers have a livescan done along with TB testing, proof of Covid vaccine. The list keeps growing, but it makes me feel safe as a parent. So I found myself here for a livescan on 8/19/21. No appointment necessary, just walk right in. However, they do shut down for the lunch hour.

I came in around 10am and there was no line. The area is relatively small and clean. The staff are very Covid conscious and take all necessary precautions. They have plexiglass up and livescan is not done the way it was before with the staff pushing down on your fingers to get the right reading. Now it's up to us to get our fingers positioned correctly.

The staff person is behind the plexiglass looking at their computer and will give us direction if our fingers aren't giving a good reading. My experience went a little like this: "Press a little hard with the pink" "Thumb is too light, spray some water and try again" I was done with the livescan in a jiffy. Parking can be found down the street next to the old Mexicali Rose.

I heard that I could get my guard card and training class and fingerprints done so Im hoping to get this done soon! I would love to try a job at security.

These guys are awesome! Their training is excellent and the staff is very helpful and easy to get along with. They will prepare you for any security job.

I went to get my handcuff/ pepper spray training through LPG because the security company I am with likes sending us here. In the back of my mind I was thinking "they must be cheap sending us to Oakland all the way from Sonoma County", but man was I right (in a good way). The training is fantastic / and the prices are really acceptable. I had zero security guard experience going into this, besides a couple shifts at a homeless dining facility, so I was thrown to the wolves with no training.

I was clueless so I asked the boss to get training and there I was. Mark was my instructor. He is a professional with many years of experience at numerous LE agencies, as well as security companies. He had a good lecture, which was made enjoyable by his funny jokes and stories. There were ample breaks, and Great hands-on training too (safely done with masks and gloves during Covid-19).

After I got my certificate Mark asked if anybody wanted to stay for a taser course. I was like hell yeah! And I got $20 off the full price. It sure beat having to schedule to go back when I could just knock it out in one day. That was great! After all that I asked how I could get my exposed firearm permit and just like that I was booked the following week for the training. If you need security officer training / baton / firearm / taser. go to LPG. They take care of us!

I took my baton training here with their instructor Phil. He was an amazing instructor that made training fun and easy to understand and learn! We all learned a lot from Phil and was a world class humble guy, high energy and made sure we got all of our questions answered.

One stop shop for satisfying all Private Security requirements Mark White was professional and knowledgeable as a subject matter expert I recommend this course for all whom seek to begin or restart their career in the security field

Due to the shelter in place job opportunities seemed impossible to find but I remembered an instructor from LPG saying guards will always be in demand( I used to be a guard while I was attending SFSU). So I looked them up and boom still in business and now online classes for re-certification and new applicants! BOOM took the class! Got my fingerprints knocked out!

Overpriced for the level of service provided. I'm elsewhere with my time and money. Your schedules are skimp with opportunities.1 firearms requal/month lol lol. Not worth it.

At first there were a mistake but the owner willing to make it up. Management is good.

I came here to get ink fingerprints done which I needed for employment purposes. I live in the city and literally the ONLY place that could do ink fingerprints was UCSF PD but you need an appointment. I found this place via yelp and decided to give it a try. I really liked the fact they take walk-in's and no appointment was required. Not to mention the entire process took less than 10-15 minutes. The fingerprints were also cheaper here than what UCSF would have charged me, I saved myself $20. Thank you!

Wow! Thanks to Marcus & his CPR/1st Aid/AED class, I knew exactly what I needed to do when my one year old son began choking on paper this morning. I immediately performed CPR & he threw up the paper ASAP. I think I'll read my class booklet again just to be ultra prepared. Thank you!

This place is a no frills, get'er done provider for anyone looking for their Guard Card. It's incredibly efficient and super responsive. They stayed on top of the details from class registration and LiveScan to followup. Reminders come to your email, chock full of details about start times and where to park - you essentially have to light yourself on fire to mess it up.
