Great, helpful service. I had a lock with a failed part. The staffer at Rex took it to the back and replaced the part almost before I had described the problem. Glad to keep the bits of this lock out of the landfill. I'll be back if I need any other lock help!

I don't know if I went in on a bad day or not and this place has always been my go-to when looking for help. My last visit was awful, as the keys didn't work and I was presented with a larger than expected bill for service that was not requested.

Got a lock rekeyed their by bringing it in, saved me over a hundred dollars because I brought it in and it was only 15$. They were so fast at rekeying that I was able to get there by bus and catch the first bus back by the time I finished getting the lock rekeyed, very good customer service

We had been having trouble with the lock to our front door. It became extremely difficult to get the door to open after turning the key in the lock. A few times I was worried that I would not be able to get into my house. I called another locksmith to come out to the house. When they arrived, they couldn't identify the problem and wasn't listening to me when I explained how difficult it was to open the door.

He left without any resolution. Then I called Rex, hoping that they could fix the lock to the door. Ian came out within an hour after calling. He was super patient and helpful. He disassembled the lock and identified the problem. We can get into our house without worrying about the lock not working properly. Thank you, Ian!

I went in the middle of a weekday. It was surprisingly busier than expected, a bunch of guys working and helping each customer, not worrying about the line, which I was fine with since they're providing the best options/services to the customer, which takes time. I just needed a few locks rekeyed. They were able to do it in like 15 minutes for 3 locks once I got to be my turn.

I just needed 3 house keys. Rex was fast, friendly, all keys worked, cheap! 3 bucks each (March, 2022) I love businesses like this. Highly recommended.

Came in with an obscure key to a 1970 Honda for a duplicate. They couldn't match up a blank, obviously it is a less than common key, but the young guy took the time to try and match one up for me. He cut a duplicate and sent me off to try it at no charge. It didn't open the door lock, but it started the car. Worst case scenario is I'll have to find a replacement window somewhere (lol), but I'll be able to drive the lil beast. Came back, ready to pay for the service, and he told me no charge.it was basically a challenge. They got me more than what I came in with, and took the time to help as best they could. Moving into a new apartment has its own challenges, including having to get your lock fixed. Reached out to Rex Key and Security and was able to get a quote as well as someone to come over within a few days. The guy assigned to me, Ian, arrived right on time and with a smile that honestly brightened up my day. Within a few seconds of looking at my door/lock, he was able to figure out my problem, which's vitally wasn't what I initially thought.

Rather than just blindly doing what I told him to do, he instead correctly diagnosed the problem, provided a solution with appropriate pricing. 100% would use Rex Key and Security again.

Service was friedly and quick, however, they couldn't make a key copy that worked. I needed a house key copied and stopped by Rex's because ACE Hardware doesn't cut keys on Fridays. Unfortunately, neither of the two keys I had copied worked when I got home. I had to return to have them recut, and then they STILL didn't work! Very disappointed that a Lock & Key shop cannot successfully copy a house key. Will be returning for a refund and going back to ACE hardware in the future.

These folks know their Sit. I have been going there for years. As brick and mortar places shut and the only places left are corporate chains. It is really striking to go into a place where everyone knows their Sit. They do a great job at a fair (or better than fair) price.

Rex Locksmith was able to repair a lock for me that had been deemed un-repairable by another locksmith. I was so happy to not have to replace the whole lock on my front door. I had removed the cylinder and brought it around, first to another locksmith and then I thought let's get another opinion. Rex was able to get the pins working again so no replacement needed, no rekeying necessary. Hooray!

Rex Key is the best! The people there are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This is a resource to be cherished, a local business that needs to be supported. If it fails there is no online/internet replacement.

This is your place to find rare keys and they are fast and customer service oriented. All that in one place.that's also a rarity. Rex, you have the keys to our loyalty.

We had a home burglary and needed to get our keys changed immediately. I called Rex Key and they had someone out to our house before noon. Super friendly and quick service. Both the scheduler/receptionist (didn't get her name) and the service guy, Victor, were great! Victor did note that it looked like the burglar kicked the door open, and chastised me for not using the deadbolt. We've learned our lesson! Highly recommended. The other locksmiths were either not available or did not call me back. I appreciate the extra effort. THANK YOU.

These guys have saved me two times already. They are fast, trustworthy, and their prices are great. First time I went in was for my scooter key. I lost the only one I had. Went first to a couple of other places; the first one said it was impossible, the second one tried to charge me $150. Finally heard about this place, went in to ask and walked out with a key after paying 30 bucks. Just awesome.

One of the employees was on the phone screaming and cursing the entire time he was "helping me". Made me four copies when I only asked for two and charged me for them, even though I told him so. None of the copies worked, so when I went back to get my money back he asked denied the situation to his boss. Terrible customer service. Never going back

Great business! I had one of those 'problem keys' that multiple businesses were unable to copy. Rex created a lock cylinder right then and there from the working copy I did have to successfully troubleshoot the problem. For no extra charge! :

The guys there were super friendly and engaging. They struck up conversation and had me laughing. You can tell they enjoy what they do. Also, they play a great selection of music and have tons of key chains and key related trinkets to choose from.

Got my car key programmed here and they did an excellent job and a very fair price, way better that many of the independents I contacted. This is an old very trustworthy business that won't let you down.

Who do you trust? It better be your Locksmith who you welcome into your home. I have an older house that required an experienced person to fix the lock on my beautiful oak door. The sincere focus they showed lingers in my mind like memory foam. Hats off to the people in the world who care about the service they provide.

Man, I wish they did more then keys. Best damn service I had in months, too bad it was for the shortest visit of my life. Shame on myself for visiting big box stores first, I'm a small independent contractor for the past 2 decades and love when the service hits me like I try to hit mine. If you need a lock service, LOOK NO FURTHER.
