The way I got to know Austin of SpyCentre Security is rather unusual. He kindly helped me in regards to a car accident I was involved in, which happened right in the front of his store. I needed a security camera footage capturing the accident. With no hesitation he agreed to help me out and minutes later he emailed me exactly what I was looking for.

I truly appreciate his flawless mannerism and exceptional customer service skills. I am planning to do business with him for all my security needs and I highly recommend him to others.

First time that I've ever been into this type of store. I've known about the secret world of hidden cameras and sound devices. However this is soo much more to it. My eyes were opened up much wider to this insane world if intelligence. They offer a amazing selection of products that you might need if you are in need of locating hidden cameras hidden listening devices as well as many devices if you yourself want to use some of this awesome devices to gain some counter intelligence yourself.

The staff was insanely knowledgeable and they don't just look at you like your just some crazy person when you come into and speak to them about this stuff. Jacob the associate who helped me is extremely knowledgeable in all facets of this. I would Recommend shopping here and having jacob lead u thru your choice and experience 200%. Try them out you will not be disappointed.

Sold me a clearance item. Stated at purchase they would assist me with contacting the manufacturer, even though they do not locally guarantee sale items. Today the "manager" rudely denied making any such statement, instead informing me "we purchase our items from China, " as if that should make any difference. While I have access to far better equipment through industry vendors, I wanted to support a local company. I won't make that mistake twice.

We got a security camera system installed on our house which included 5 cameras. One however only worked a short time. When calling they said to reset the system so we did and it worked for another short time. Work truck was broken into 2 times but the camera for that was out both times. We had to raise hell to get them to come fix it. They finally did but then tried to say we owed $300 for a new camera which nobody authorized the purchase of a new one, btw is still broken.

In the it was agreed that we just wont do business any longer. Wish we would've shopped around a little bit more before spending that much money on non functioning equipment.

Returned unopened package 4 days past the 30 day return policy and would not refund the full purchase price of merchandise. There was no phone number on my confirmation order and the email I sent asking about the return policy came back undeliverable. If you search you can find the policy but it should be clearly written on the order. Very poor customer service. I would never buy from them again.

Beware if you don't click on quick links on the home page you will not know that orders placed after 3:30 will not be overnighted, yet when you get to the shipping section at checkout it allows you to select over night shipping. I was charged $54 and then refused a refund. Pretty much told oh well by the Manager Alex. Customer service leaves much to be desired. I would not recommend this company. Go to Amazon for honest and upfront delivery and return policies.

I clicked 3 stars to make it neutral. Just want to say BOBBY KEYES that one rude customer shouldn't make you define the whole store as rude. Having two businesses, I know some employees are just bold to act as if they are the owners of the business and can do however they please. That happens anywhere. It is the responsibility of the establishment to filter bad employees, so you should have given the name of the person or people who were rude to you.

UPDATE Tried all night & this morning can't even read the files or see them on a laptop/computer! Piece of junk! Worst business ever! I purchased a voice recorder pen. Explained to salesperson I needed something to record for court with date/time. Told me I only needed to charge it for a short time period be ready to go! Recorded well but had wrong date & time! Making it inadmissable in court! Reached out to manufacturer tried to get help changing date & time. Was not able to do it. Took it back was told that model didn't allow you to update date & time. WTH good is a voice recorder pen that all files say 1/1/2016?

I specifiially asked when I bought it! I went in yesterday & exhanged it for a voice recorded wristband. Made the sales guy change date & time. Showed it to me. Left store with it. Went to work fully charged it, took it off charger, tested it, worked & had the correct date/time. Turned on recorder walked into office recorded conversation. Went back plugged it in & was dated 1/1/17 12 am. Took it back to the store within 3 hours.

Same salesperson took a look saw the wrong date & time said he couldn't explain it. Told me to keep working with it! Really? Again, your defective product recorded a conversation I need in court with the wrong date & time & you tell me to keep working with it? Are you kidding me? They sell old outdated equipment, don't resolve customers issues & try hard to hide their return policy nor back up the purchase!

Again worst company EVER! WOULD GIVE 0 STARS if it was an option! Will dispute with my bank & they can shove their equipment! Can't even get my personal laptop to read it! Salesperson couldn't get his computer to read it either! Yet I have can't get a refund?

I purchased this device in July 2018 and used it weekly up until last week. I have always made sure the device was charged before using as the instructions stated and I removed old files before recording new ones even the product states it will hold several hours of recording. Once you record for however long you record you have to delete those files before using it again.

Anyway I used the device last week and it did not record, the red light came on and stayed on, i called tech support and the guy troubled shoot with me and still nothing worked. The tech guy told me to turn it on let the battery drain all the way and recharge it for 3 hours and then record and if it does not work call me back and we will try something else.

Well that didnt work. I called today and talked to a kenneth who really didnt care and I told him it seems like the device just stopped working all of a sudden. He said "yeah, that's what it sounds like", there is nothing i can do for you its out of warranty". I guess out of warranty because its now November? So this company's device will only work for so long and then it will not work any more. If you think it is worth paying $100 for a device that will only work for about for 3 months have at it! smh

Great experience! The installers confirmed up on time and have been very easy to work with. John supplied wonderful customer service over the cellphone and the job was perfectly done.

Great help and was given information that will help me make my decision very nice! Even with my friends toddler running around trying to get behind the counter he was very nice.

Their hours make it difficult to go sometimes depending on your schedule but in the past many years ago I purchased a hidden camera from here because of someone getting inside my apartment when I was gone & 'doing things' & it generally functioned as it should then completely stopped working close to a year after purchase. I know they do not personally make the products & are not going to be responsible for defects but I do wish there was some kind of return or send to the manufacturer deal you could do, the camera cost $600-$700 I believe.

I then purchased at about $550 or so a different hidden camera & it still functions mostly fine most of the time today & that was at least 5 years ago. I recently purchased a piece of equipment from them that is $400 something online over the weekend & right after making the purchase found out of serious issues that will literally be draining my bank account & then some.

I didn't think it would be possible to cancel but tried immediately since it was sunday & hadn't shipped & they actually did! I'm extremely greatful & it helps me out so incredibly much that they've worked with me on this! I recommend this store in particular.

SOLID! The device performed and worked as advertised. I know where my honey goes ALL the time! They were fast, friendly, and stayed late to help. Try getting that service elsewhere!

I went to Spy Centre Security to purchase a stand alone security camera. The asst manager, Austin was very helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions which allowed me to choose the right camera. Austin even took the time to set up the camera and connected it to a monitor so I could see the picture quality which was very good. I brought the camera home, plugged it in, and it is working perfectly. When I am ready to add a complete security camera system to my home I will definitely contact Spy Centre.

Really cool shop if you have serious surveillance needs that need to be met discreetly. The merchandise is industrial strength and the owner is personable and patient in his approach to explaining- even though it was clear I was looking to learn rather than buy.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. I had a need for a personal body-worn video camera for a special project over-seas. I purchased the top of the line video camera & digital video recorder from Spy Centre at their suggestion based on my expressed needs. I paid $800.00 for this set-up. I got overseas for my project to find that the equipment was defective and would not work.

You can imagine my frustration after spending nearly $1,000.00 on this "high tech" equipment to have it be defective. Upon returning from my 3 week trip to Asia, I returned to the store to return the equipment. THIS STORE HAS A NO-REFUND POLICY. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE will they refund your purchase, PERIOD. I explained that it did not function at all, etc. "Sorry, all sales are final.

The best I can do is send it out to the manufacturer and have it repaired". Are you kidding me?! IT NEVER WORKED! "Well its also been more than 30 days since you bought it so. you know nobody would return this for cash for you anywhere. no company would accept returns after 30 days". WHAT A JOKE. THIS PLACE WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND WILL NOT STAND BEHIND ITS PRODUCTS. IF YOU WANT TO THROW AWAY MONEY ON JUNK PRODUCTS GO BUY SOMETHING HERE.
