I had a Zoom interview this afternoon and just as the person who was doing my interview started to talk we got disconnected. I called the person who had setup the interview only to be told that they were not sure how we got disconnected but I wasn't what they were looking for in the position I applied for. Very disappointing and in my opinion unprofessional to not allow someone to at least finish the interview. I will never apply for this company ever again.

They hired me at full time and when I had surgery I needed to use some PTO. When I tried to use it.they said I was not full time and denied my PTO after working 50 hours a week for 3 years. Don't work for HSS. Go-to a company who actually cares about their security guards. I am so ashamed they can get away with these acts. I am looking for a lawyer but I wanted to warn people that I hope this don't happen to anyone else.

I am a disabled veteran who has a service dog. I was brought into the hospital via ambulance, my husband and mother in law were in our vehicle along with my service dog. At the hospital I asked for both my husband and dog. The HSS security guard said no, not without 3 things. My dogs vest, which he had, his veterinarian records and "something from the state" proving he is a service dog. 1.
There are only 2 questions, per ada that can be asked, neither was asked. 2. State of Colorado doesn't have a service dog registration process. The other staff refused to let my husband and mother in law into the hospital. They told my husband that mom had to "sit outside ", shes 98 and blind plus there were no other persons in the lobby. It was 27° outside.i called HSS the next day and offered to give their staff a class on ADA and service dogs. I was informed that they were fully trained in ADA.

At the DMV one of the guards (female) kept yelling at us one chair per party we complied with her request but she continued to yell at us not realizing we were two different parties. I can't help but feel it was racial because the two parties were Hispanics and standing/sitting by each other. We had to finally bark back at her. We weren't even apologized too.

Around the corner from HSS on Broadway is a very friendly Dog Park. One of the security members from this HSS location decides to walk through the dog park, mace in hand, threatening to mace the dogs as he walked through. This is not okay and shouldn't be threatening to mace defenseless dogs as he walks through a DOG PARK. I will be filing a formal complaint and a police report if he decides to do this again.

Maybe it's because of where I live that I see their security guards often. Maybe it's because 1 night when the construction at the cancer was happening. My girlfriend and I were walking. Someone heard us and jumped the construction fence. I called the police and HSS security was there first. I think it's because I believe that if any one of these security officers saw nefarious activity anywhere they would report it. Just makes me feel a little safer with them constantly driving around.

I like working for this company. I have worked for many other Security companies in the past. HSS is by far the best. The work environment can be stressful but it is very rewarding. You are able to help people on the worst days of their life. This is not a typical Security job where you simply observe and report incidents. You are required to intervene with combative Patients and Visitors and are tasked with watching over the M-1 hold patients to ensure that they are making safe choices and don't attempt to leave the facility.
I really enjoy being able to help people. It can be tough at times though. You see some sad things but being able to go home knowing you made a positive impact on someone's life is really rewarding.

I used HSS for a system 10+ years ago and just moved. It was a good experience the first time and so much better the second time. Especially when they educated me on all my options and potential security threats. They took the extra time to educate me, protect my family from Hideous crimes and comforted my wife when she's home alone and I'm traveling. Wise men listen to those educated in their trade. reasonable cost and great service. Highly recommended

Do not use these guys. Buyer be ware. I was a client for years, and when I decided to switch services, they hit me with an exorbitant bill for like a year's worth of future service. They keep dogging me for money. A few times over the years I found that the cell dialer was not working, so in effect had no alarm anyway. Not only was it expensive, the equipment did not work well.

POOR customer service! Every time I call to request something I'm told they need to call me back and NEVER do. I guess getting a photocopy of something from them is asking too much. They never installed the fire alarm properly and didn't call us back to come out and do their job right. I don't know how they stay in business. When asked about them I tell people about my experience and they are quickly turned off by their lack of professionalism.
