Do not get this service. Go with anyone else. Starting off, it's a THREE YEAR contract that you CANNOT CANCEL. If you do go with ADT ENSURE you get everything in writing. After contacting customer service to let them know we were moving they instructed us to leave all items. Now, 2 years later, when I'm going to cancel my service, they are telling me to return the equipment. Clearly I don't have it as I sold the house and moved to another town.

The worst experience I've EVER had with customer service.especially by an account specialist named Pryor. calls. Was dismissive, arrogant and rude. I spent over 2.5 hours on the phone trying to return equipment. 3 people promised to call me back within 2 minutes.never happened. I had to go through 8 different phone calls. FedEx was requiring a particular label for lithium batteries and Blue was telling me that they shouldn't. I finally wash met with compassion by a gal who knew exactly what I was talking about and helped find the solution. I was very upset and she found a way to help me through.

Moved and couldn't get my new Blue System to connect or be recognized by my brand new iPhone. Called tech and was told I had to setup a separate port for the hub to operate on. This is not user friendly nor is it efficient. It's 2022. ADT needs to come up with better software for this Smart Home Hub system before they advertise it to their customers.
Who wants to go through all of this to get the protection they are paying for. Do not recommend the Blue System. And the guy I talked to was dry and Seemed like he didn't care much. Update. Pro by ADT and Blue by ADT are two different departments that do not communicate with one another although owned and operated under the same DBA. They took $500 claiming I canceled my contract when I literally transferred services.
Here I am three weeks later still begging for my money back. I've filed a BBB complaint. And I will be calling everyday until these thieves return my money. Do not recommend.

Decided to go to ADT Blue from regular ADT system since I did not have any cameras on the old system, as well as the hefty monthly monitoring cost. At least the Blue monitoring is a set $19.99/mo. All reviews I had seen on the Blue outdoor cameras said the rechargeable battery runs for 3-6 months. I'm lucky to get 2 weeks out of them before I need to change out the batteries!
At $200 per camera - IMHO they are a waste of money.and I've tried adjusting settings/sensitivity to no avail. Ready to trash the system and go with one of the other competitors that seem to be a much better product based on reviews

Like many others, if I could give Blue by ADT zero stars I would. It has been nothing but problems. We had regular ADT and when we moved we were told if we get Blue by ADT there would be no cancelation fee. Cool. Paid the $500+ dollars to get all new equipment instead of paying the $700 cancelation fee. Well I was lied to by the rep and now we owe the $700 cancelation fee which I refuse to pay.
They have been extremely unhelpful with this situation so now I have collections calls from them every day. Blue by ADT is a complete waste of time. In addition to them not being helpful, their cameras die quickly and half the time my cameras doesn't even detect motion occurring when they are charged.

Honestly not worth it. You'll get trapped into a contract, it's not super helpful or flexible. It's expensive. Something got messed up between my device and our local police department so we are paying to not even be monitored. Then we sold our house, didn't get the equipment and ADT said well you can have them take over your contract (which they didn't do). So we are literally stuck paying them every month for YEARS with nothing to show for it. Unhelpful. Go with a different company or try not get in a contract.

DO NOT PURCHASE! If I could give this system less than one star I would. I would not even use ADT just because they facilitate this product, and they are EXTREMELY MANIPULATIVE. I purchased this product with the intent of receiving a reliable and quality home security system. Upon setting it up, it locked me out of my account a few days later and sent me invalid links to reset the password.
Then my alarm would sound at random times. I had to leave work and meet the police at my place to ensure no one was trying to break in, only to learn that the system is malfunctioning. I was awaken out of my sleep in the early hours of the morning for the same issue. But yet, some days I would come in and the alarm would not sound at all. I complained about this issue to disinterested staff, who never sought to rectify my problem, but rather gave me a month free, and sent out more equipment (that I never even opened).
After the problem continued to persist, I went ahead with another system; one more reliable and customer-friendly (Slomins). When I went to cancel, they informed me that it would cost 1024.00. They guy became really arrogant and displayed an attitude when I informed him that I did not want anymore free months, but that I decided to go with another system.
While it is my error for not understanding the "lease terms" of the agreement, I was told that the equipment and installation was "free" and would only have to pay the monthly service fee. I trusted the word of salesperson, which is my mistake as well, but to learn how deceitful they are is disheartening; considerably after I only wish to switch due to the ineffectiveness of their system.
I even tried to make it work, after the system caused me so many inconveniences. The customer rep would not allow or refer me to anyone above him, so I will continue to try to seek assistance through other avenues. PLEASE AVOID THIS SYSTEM AT ALL COSTS!

Do not sign up with this company. When I called to sign up, I spoke to a lady who explained to me the way the system works and she told me she was going to email me a form to sign and send back over "real quick". She told me don't bother reading it because it is everything she explained already. Several months later, I call to cancel my service and they tell me I signed up for a 3 year agreement!
She never mentioned this and I explained to them that I was unaware of this and they will not let me out of the agreement. I have never dealt with such greedy customer service and they are fully aware she scammed me but are refusing to help. Whatever you do, PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. I have never left a review before but I feel morally obligated to warn people because this is ridiculous and I'm stuck with them for years now.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value Service won't stay connected more than 2-3 days at a time, nothing they can do about it. When I called to cancel service the rep literally yelled at me on the phone. I will be reaching out to their corporate offices in the am. Worst customer service experience EVER.

Absolutely no accountability, waiting for a manager's callback for 18months literally! Every time I call request a manager they're on calls with a customer. Paying equipment charges on a camera never shipped. Contract dispute- make sure you pay close attention (verbal and document). My service has been of no value and offline for at least 17 months, last month received email my service is offline- where have they been for over a year! Company is a COMPLETE JOKE!

Worst service ever. 3 different times blue by ADT customer rep said higher management will call you, never received a call back, i was scammed by this company. i do not have ADT service at home and they have been charging me $50 a month for 5 months and the customer service is not allowing me to speak to higher management, all they do is take a msj but no one calls back. I did file a complaint with the Attorney General office.

I got this because of a stalker. That person was able to access my ADT account and delete the videos and when I called ADT I was told they have no way of tracking what IP address accessed the account. The most basic of internet sleuthing that has been in play since the 90's. Subsequently, the stalker was able to perform IRS fraud so they could sweep in and obtain every worldly possession I own by snatching my storage unit that I had for four years since my mother's death. ADT's failure cost me everything

I have been a customer for over a decade from Ingrid to Lifeshield to now Blue by ADT. I have a grand-fathered contract that has been carried over and honored by all 3 companies. Now Blue-by ADT will NO Longer honor the contract and is forcing me to upgrade and pay for a new contract and equipment. I am willing to pay for the new equipment but to force me out of my grandfathered contract is no way to honor loyal customers! Beware before you sign up with Blue-by ADT. Go with Simplisafe or Ring or anyone else that honors contractual agreements because they will NOT.

Where do I start! They lied to get me to buy their equipment. He said the camera was wireless when it wasn't. I tried to set up a time for them to call me and it wouldn't go through. I tried calling the number one the book, no one answered and the last thing was what I read on that book while I was on hold. Please Read the warning at the bottom in the book.

ADT and Blue by ADT is a garage company. I sold my home and could not use my services anymore after being a loyal customer. They gave me a choice to transfer to a mobile service or pay a cancellation fee. I chose the mobile service to avoid a cancellation fee. I was under the impression by transferring to their mobile service I would finish out my contract.
Blue by ADT extended my contract. Blue by ADT has garbage service, garbage customer service. The app for my mobile service is garbage as well. They (ADT/BluebyADT) have forever lost this customer. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE.

I WAS a customer since 2011 (it was Lifeshield then). My system stopped working properly, specifically low audible tone from the control unit. I called in to troubleshoot, which did not resolve the issue. Their suggestion was to sign a new contract for a new system and/or purchase additional equipment. I went with another company and was charged a fee for terminating my service. Their excuse was that I upgraded the system in 2019. But that system was already failing - which shows the poor quality of the equipment. I've had 2 systems in 10 years.

Do NOT get your alarm system through these crooks! I had a two year agreement then all of sudden its a 3 years when I call to cancel and they want a $600.00 early termination fee. I will invest in a dog, bat and gun before I ask a alarm company to "monitor" my home ever again. Im going to write to the BBB about this and hopefully I get this company out of pockets and life.
