They made this key at the Petaluma Airporter park and ride one nite, It worked if you held it just right, rubbed your head and patted your belly. No really, it didn't work. I had to call another locksmith who knew what they were doing and you can see from the pictures the difference in quality. They keys are night and day difference. So locksmithing is a craft, a precision to quality.
How they are still in business is amazing. They got evicted from the location they used to be in by Marys Pizza. What locksmith gets evicted from their shop? If you can't trust your locksmith who can you trust? Not these guys, they aren't locksmiths.

Second time I went to this locksmith store after calling to confirm that they were open. Drove, again, to the store and the door was locked and no one inside. I called again and the person who answered said the store was closed. This happened twice. Called and told open. Dropped by 30 minutes later and closed. I would think when I called back that they would feel my pain but certainly did not seem to.
Just said "we are closed". I mentioned that I had just called and was told they were open. Silence. Hmmmm Might be good for emergency field calls but obviously unreliable for in store service.

Today I needed a locksmith to come out to an event site and get a lock repaired. I called Armour and although very nice and professional they were running late. I was having a less than perfect day. However once the technician arrived the entire job was just PERFECT! Then at the end of the service my car battery had died and I was so blessed that my technician had a jumper battery and was so kind to help me. Great company- great service.

Clearly I was dealing with a hired young dude being paid very little, who has no pride of ownership, who doesn't like customers, and had some place to be. Lousy locksmith skills. Bad service--didn't explain things well. Destroyed a vintage lock. Then charged me an arm and a leg. Could have cared less about me or his job. I so regret not reading the Yelp reviews closer. What the old timers call "highway robbery" and a crying shame. I'm very disappointed.

Purchased aftermarket key fobs for my Dodge Grand Caravan. I took the key blanks to a locksmith, knowing that if they are cut wrong, you just can't take another key off the wall and try again. "I can do it, but no guarantees." seconds later, "Whoops." But hey, no charge for ruining my spare key in the key fob. And he did warn me. Didn't seem to be too upset about it. What just happened? I will not be back.

This is the BEST locksmith shop in the area hands down! My side door lock was broken on my vehicle, and their helpful staff member disassembled my lock, cleaned it, and fixed it back to working condition, and did NOT charge me for the job. That kind of service is simply unheard of these days, so if you are looking for locksmith work that is second to none, go straight to these guys as you will not be disappointed.

I so appreciate being able to call a small businessman who is honest and super helpful! I called about getting locks on my car fixed, and this kind man responded that they don't do that kind of work. The guy behind the counter was friendly with good customer service. I went to have a key made, they had a good selection of custom pattern keys to choose from rather than just a standard key. I know that key copies are done pretty quick, but this was literally under a minute--now thats solid! I would definitely bring any lock and key biz to this shop.
